I could hear the ocean waves crashing against the shore,
they calmed me, just when I was breaking.
I climbed out the window, shivering from the night air
and shaking from the pills.
I sat in the sand, night surrounding me.
I felt so tiny, so small.
This world didn't need me, it never had.
So I walked into the freezing waves,
and stopped trying to find a reason to stay.
