Hiccup went out of Gothi's hut where toothless was they went to the dragon and Claire looked at the dragon and started to cry her eyes turn purple

" Hey hey it's ok... his not going to hurt you sweetheart I promise" Hiccup said to Claire

She looked at the dragon toothless looked at her curiously that her eyes turned into a shade while goldish yellow and hid on hiccup's back

" Come here bud show Claire your a friend ok" Hiccup said to his dragon

He slowly walked towards the little girl and liked her face Claire smiled and her eyes turned back to baby blue and started petting toothless and giggled he let her ride his back

" See I told you his friendly" Hiccup said to his daughter as he climbed on to toothless and Claire wrapped her arms around his waist

" come on bud let's go to the great hall by the way Gothi thank you for healing her " he said and flew off

Gothi smiled at them and waved them good bye

Hiccup toothless and Claire arrived at the great hall where his dad was ordering some Vikings to do work they walked towards him Claire being shy little girl she hid on hiccups legs once again

" Ah son your here ! Good how is the little girl feeling ?" He asked with his voice booming around

" She's fine dad Claire honey you can come out now" Hiccup said to the girl

She looked at him with her cute eyes but she hid her face on hiccup's leg with a red blush

" Ah hello there little one" Stoick said softly as he kneels down to her

Claire gave him a soft waved of her hand while hiding on Hiccup

" I see she's shy huh ?" Stoick asked with a hearty laugh

" Yea she is...Umm dad can we talk about Claire..." Hiccup asked nervously

" Alright son I'll be inside you need to let that girl have some company before we have a talk " Stoick said and went inside the hall

" Toothless can watch Claire for me ? and Claire I'll be right back stay with toothless ok ?" Hiccup said to the shy girl

" Yes daddy..." Claire said quietly

Hiccup smiled at her and kissed her forehead and went inside the hall Claire looked at toothless and he smiled at her and they started playing with each other and toothless making Claire giggle

" So your telling me that the little girl is now an orphan and she doesn't know who her family is and you want her to be your daughter and to be my granddaughter?" Stoick said to Hiccup who explained everything to him

" Yes that's basically it" Hiccup said while scratching his neck

" Alright I approved your decision but may I remind you that taking care of a child is a huge responsibility and anywhere you go she will go with you even if your out flying son and I mean anywhere " Stoick said to him with a strict look

" I know dad I promise I'll take care of her" Hiccup said and smiled

" Alright come on let's sign does adoption letters and you may have her oh!!! I'm a grandfather!!!" Stoick shouted happily

After signing the letter Stoick hugged him so tightly that he couldn't breathe and bones crushing

" Now introduces me to my new granddaughter" Stoick said while snacking Hiccup's back

" Alright haha" Hiccup said as he massage his sore back

They both went out to Claire who was playing with toothless peekaboo

" Claire come here sweetie" Hiccup called out to her

She looked at him and ran towards him and hugged him

" Sweetheart I already sign the adoption letter you are now officially my daughter" Hiccup said to her

" YAY!!! I have a daddy !!!" Claire said and hugged Hiccup as tight as she could

" Hahah I have someone to introduce you to this is my dad and your new grandfather" hiccup introduce Stoick to Claire

" grandpa ?" She asked with a cute gesture

" Why hello Claire welcome to the family lass" he said and they all hugged each other even toothless was happy for Hiccup

" Come on now son let's go home and enjoy our new member to our family" Stoick said

" Ok dad" Hiccup said and carried Claire to their house and celebrated
