'Great to see you man’, Bashir said and embraced him in a hug. After exchanging hugs, Bashir turned towards me, ‘Sana this is Javed, and Javed this is…., wait you called her uncouth lady?’. He ended saying this looking at Javed, so that’s what his name was, as if it did matter to me. But Javed is a nice name, whatever...., who on earth would name their child Javed if they knew this is what he’ll grow up to be, Rude and devil faced. ‘I actually might be running out of words today, else I would have used a more apt word', he completed, smirking at me. Bashir sensed my anger at this and invited us inside the café saying we should talk over a cup of espresso. ‘No thank you Bashir, I actually have got work  to do and not spare time to mock others’, declining his offer and looking directly at Javed while saying all this. I left from there and thought about this strange incident while walking. I was tired, I had been walking since morning, I went to a shop, bought a pack of chips and bottle of water, sat on the bench and pondered about what happened today. My mind was no longer occupied with thoughts of my dad’s illness, I realized I had been wrong in being rude to Javed, he had, after all, helped me to a great deal by saving my life, I had never been so rude to anyone in my life ever before, I never raised my voice or talked back at anyone, let alone being rude. He undoubtedly was a jerk and really rude but he at least deserved to be thanked for this favor. I ate chips and looked at children playing in an overlooking garden, seeing them giggle while chasing one another made me smile. I got engrossed in this simple yet beautiful act happening in front of me. This helped me turn my mind away from problems back home and with what happened today. I closed the chips packet and put it in my bag, drinking some water from the bottle and putting it back in my bag  I stood up to leave. I decided I would thank Javed for saving my life if the two of them were still there in the café. I reached the café soon enough since it was near to the bench where I was sitting. I entered the café and the smell of fresh coffee brewing instantly hit my senses, I really liked this smell, I looked for the two inside and found them sitting in one of the tables discussing something, both of them looked quite solemn. I reached near them and said, ‘ I am sorry to disturb you guys but I want to thank Javed for saving my life today, Thank you Javed, that was really kind of you’ I faked a smile at him and batting my eyelashes, sarcastically added, ‘But that does not change the fact how big of a jerk you are. Thanks but better watch your words before speaking, it’ll be good for you’. I then sensed the confused expression on Bashir’s face, he must have been unaware of all this but I thought Javed must have told him, and as far as I can recall I saw a slightly amused expression on Javed’s face. Realising the awkwardness of the situation I turned and left from the café, I wasn’t prepared for another thing coming today, I had enough of it. I left the, took a bus home and on reaching back, ran up to my room, threw my handbag on chair and fell on my bed, not caring to even change. It didn’t take me long enough to sleep
