With that, everyone fluttered their eyes open, fearful of what was to see.

When he opened his eyes he saw a desert before him. It was much healthier than a stereotypical desert.

There was a river of light blue water, a few cacti in the surroundings, a soft hot breeze, and seven oak brown sheds scattered far in the distance.

What stayed classic, was the scorching sun and the sound of screeching cicadas filling his ears.

The boy that he once brutally murdered out of blind rage... Or whatever it was. Wasn't anyway in sight.

Ray's absence seemed to bring his sanity back. In time his mind flashed to what had happened in the past three minutes since he'd blacked out his mind.

Myra... Myra was asking me something. She threw her device on the ground in night one!

Agust looked around to his sides, and turned around to see Myra on the ground. Her legs were shaped in a W, around her torso along with her trembling.

Her eyes are closed, thank God.

He crouched in front of her and lightly shook her shoulder, in attempt to open her eyes.

"Myra the transition is done. You can open your eyes now..."
His touch made her flinch and her eyes were flipped open.

Something's wrong... Her pupils aren't responding to the sunlight.

"Agust... I... Agust?!"
Myra reached for his hand on her shoulder and looked up, her gaze awkwardly shifted to the side of his shoulder.

"AGUST I CAN'T SEE!"

She covered her mouth in attempt to control her racing heartbeat. And clutched his forearm tightly in assurance of his presence.

"Ok, calm down... Um. Ah shit... Shit! You really can't see anything?"
Agust ran both hands through his hair, his hands trembled thinking if it was permanent.

Myra sloppily reached for his elbow, then his hand. Holding onto him was the only thing keeping her from having an absolute panic attack.

"You will not let me go ok? Y-you promise me you won't let me go...."
Her voice cracked and her lip trembled in utter horror that she could be permanently blind. Oblivious to her soon to be dangerous surroundings.

Agust gave her a verbal confirmation, and pulled her up. He told her it was open space so there was no need for her to walk slowly.

Soon the group was formed in the middle. An exact total of thirty survivors. Four, including Myra, with lack of sight.

"Ok so do we stay here and wait to see what our predator will be, or separate into groups and hide?"

A tan Asian with flicked up, dark hair spoke. Agust had seen him before, and never grew fond of the boy.

"Do you realize how stupid that first option is? Tell me who is going to stand here and wait to be killed or eaten!?"
A Caucasian girl spoke up from the group, everyone else murmured in agreement.

"Groups it is. Alright, everyone get into groups of four with two groups of five. Since there are seven shack things, then it's only logical for there to be a decent amount of people to be split into shacks."

The Asian boy led forming the groups. Acting as the sudden leader, indicating people and sending them to the shacks.

"The sixth group will be you, you, you... And you."
He pointed at Agust, the Caucasian girl, the dark skinned girl with a buzz cut from before, and a ginger haired boy.

"There will be a maximum of one visually impaired person in some groups. And you will not treat them of less importance."
The 'leader' ordered to the now formed groups.

He was about to send himself and the others off to the shacks, when he saw Agust and Myra standing together.

"Blondie she's vision impaired, and she was placed in group three. You're in group six."

Myra hadn't realized she'd been placed into a different group, calling 'you' wasn't enough to let her know who he was referring to.

"She's moving to group six then. I don't want her with random teenagers while being blind."
Agust scowled, and group six whispered to each other, not wanting a blind member on their team.
------

10 minutes later
The groups had been made, and had taken them eight minutes to walk to the far away shacks.

August's group was falling behind as the other groups were approaching the shacks, even entering them.

"Blondie, how damn long are you going to continue plucking all the stupid cactuses."
The ginger growled, the two girls groaning in agreement. Myra holding onto his wrist, walking at his same pace.

It's not cactuses you dipshit, it's cacti.... And just because that supposed leader called me that doesn't mean it's my new nickname.

He decided to remain silent throughout night two, or as long as he stayed in the group. The angry thoughts that jogged through his head were best to keep to himself. Unless he wanted to start an argument. Then had a thought that it would be impossible to successfully form a group and hate everyone in it.

Jesus, just get to know them more, maybe they aren't as obnoxious as you assume.

"Incase you were so desperately wondering. I'm collecting the cactus' needles to keep in my pockets in case of an emergency attack."
He focused his vision on the needles he plucked.

He heard what was once three pairs of footsteps ahead of him become two.

He looked up to see the Caucasian backing her steps and slow her pace. Until she was beside Myra.

She had brown eyes, golden blonde locks in messy waves, and was just a few centimeters taller than him.

"You're right... I never thought about emergency weapons. Clever."

They made awkward eye contact. Agust was the first to break it and continue walking while plucking needles.

The girl skipped to his other side and whispered loudly in his ear.

"You have a hot voice you know... What's your name?"

Her whisper was loud enough for Myra to hear. Knowing she was on the other side of him, she stretched her arm and smacked the girl's head.

"His name is Noneofyourdamnbuisness"

The blonde Caucasian scowled at Myra, and sped walked to catch up to the other members.

Agust sighed hard and ignored everything that happened in the last three minutes.

This is going to be loooong night...
