The Time Is Up: Moving Onto Another Time Sequence- 13:25 (24 hr clock)

Into the access code, hit enter and positioned an ear piece around his outer ear.

"Thanks to a particular young man, night two has become accessible."

He observed his monitors, watching as the young teens were torn between feeling relieved or terrified.

"I ask for you to close your eyes in four seconds, the coding will commence and the simulation will change settings. I repeat, close. Your. Eyes. And do not open them until instructed"

Chang-Gyun got up and examined the forty-one bodies, ensuring the tubes, straps, and pads were properly placed to prevent glitches along with brain damage for night two.
--------

"Agust why are some people closing their eyes..?"
Myra softly tapped him on the shoulder. She knew he was still in shock over what he'd done, Myra herself was in a state of confusion as well.

Agust didn't respond, keeping his eyes wide open and staring at the gorily impaled corpse.

He heard what the voice on the device had instructed them to do. He heard that someone had opened night two... Whatever that meant.

Most people would have a million thoughts and voices lapping through their minds. But he felt the exact opposite.

An absence of a conscience telling him what to do next.

He kept his eyes open, stared at the corpse, and ignored Myra's tugs and questions.

"Agust... Close your damn eyes kid!"
A voice from his ear piece harshly instructed.
Likely enabling access to only Agust's device.

"Agust follow the rules and shut. Your. Eyes."

There was something about that sentenced that sounded eerily familiar. He couldn't pint point where he'd heard it before, but the sensation made him obey.

He slowly shut his eyes, and had completely forgotten about Myra beside him.
------

"Sir! There are four people that removed their ear-monitors earlier in the simulation!"
His assistant came rushing to his desk after examining the bodies' ears.

The professor's eyes grew big with curiosity.
"Huh... Well they won't die so not to fret about this. There's just some damage that will be done, temporarily... However long enough to decrease their survival rate."
------

"Agust now you closed your eyes too?! Is there something I missed? Are you thinking, listening, imagining?... Agust what the hell is everyone doing?!"

She grew into slight panic that he wouldn't answer her and even more rose to think they might be doing more than just closing their eyes. But she was clueless.

And late.

The transition of settings from night one to night two lasted no more than ten seconds of programming and adjusting.

To Myra it felt like an eternal hell.
------

Agust felt the sensation of the space and air around him change, however didn't dare to open his eyes. The voice strictly instructed not to.

"You may now slowly open your eyes. I won't give instructions for this night either. I can say that you are given different surroundings, which means a different obstacle. Don't die, be smart, allies don't exist."
