He is sleeping beside me, quiet and still, mind working on his way to dreamland. Or perhaps he had gotten there. I don’t know. But right at this moment, all I could do is linger my eyes on him. His face is just too perfect for words to describe. The moonlight generously lights up and focuses on that part, making me smile and think that after all we were put through; I still love him just like that. You can’t blame me though. I have a heart that accurately beats for the person I really love.
How we arrived at this stage is a long story for me to share. And I know it doesn’t end here. There is more to come, there will be more secrets revealed and loopholes to know. But for now, one thing is for sure. He’s beside me, he’s my husband, and a wedding we never expected brought us closer...
