A bad turn on left lane

Izaya when he came tune he was distorted and barely conscious all he saw was Kine in the front seat of the car driving. Before he felt the stinging pain from Vorona's stab wound she gave him and the pain following from  his broken arms all the way  to his shoulder blades . Mariami in the other front seat signaled Kine that Izaya was somewhat awake .Hold on Izaya will get you to a doctor said Kine .Izaya knew there was only one under ground doctor in Ikebukuro he probably run into that would decline helping him because of his actions that shattered there friendship. No you have to get me out of the city Izaya said weakly before collapsing into unconscious again . Kine made a frustrated face Maniami took notice as he push on the pedal to speed up and make a left turn. Kine eyes widen when he saw a device on the road. Before he could even react and move the steering wheel and the car blown up into the air and tumbled a 360 off the road. The device must of triggered a small explosion Kine thought to himself. Before looking upside down through the smashed car window to see a black van in the distance and guys in black running towards his destination .There was also a figure in white with a gas mask  that stayed  right by the parked black USV .Kine look back to see how Manimai was doing. She was unconscious and had a small wound on her head where a tiny drop of blood was pouring down.  she must of hit her head on the dashboard of the car when it was rolling . Discarding her and leaving her and Izaya in car and made a run for it until one of the men in black shot him with a tranq bullet. Shingen Kishitani made sure to direct his agents to leave the out cold Kine and Maniami by a tree that was a safe distance away from the car. Shingen thought it be best for them to be alive no one would be looking for Orihara after all the shit he pulled in Tokyo in general. Two more agents carried Izaya out of the car to a nearby doctor in the van. As soon as they were ready to leave Shingen hit the button on his controller to detonate the car.

A year and a little more later..

Shizuo pov

After the last battle with Izaya Orihara  Shizuo was somewhat left  traumatized the first few weeks left him with nightmares . The dreams would play out mostly the same way  with shizuo breaking Izaya's blocking arms like chopsticks until he hit the concrete wall. The only differences from the dream and reality when Izaya turn his head and mocked him with that sadistic twisted snake like smile saying Kill me monster we all know I'm more human than you! Shizuo would give into his temper letting that Izaya win with his statement causing him to  wake up out of breath soaked in sweat fearing his lack of control of his temper. He still get that nightmare sometimes just not as frequent as it use to . It was one of the things that stop him from interacting with Vorona and he started to distance himself from tom to when it came to those topics .Though despite that not much has change around Ikebukuro other than the run in to Raira freshman Yahiro Mizuchi . I mean how could he defend A mischievous scum ball that  accuse one of his best friends celty as a criminal . His supposed friend Kuon gave off that familiarity vibe of Izaya and it was weird talking to Celty about it because yahiro strength remind him of himself .It made him wonder if it would of been better if somehow if Izaya and him were friends would of made Ikebukuro more peaceful all those years instead of fighting. As he said goodnight to tom after work he headed home to his small apartment that was surprisingly cozy . The apartment was very modern and plain shizuo may occasionally break something in the apartment every once in blue moon but what he was getting paid from his current job was enough to cover it if not more. He had not seen his little brother Kasuka much not after the media released  his relationship with Ruri Hijirbe. He knew the couple were happy and that all that mattered.  As soon as he was in the apartment he when into the bathroom to brush his teeth and got ready for bed .
