My great, great grandparents were created and raised in the labs of scientist. Taken from their rightful parents and then injected with some kind of transformation shot. The shot was only meant to make them stronger, more durable, and have heightened senses, stamina, and agility. All these traits coming from wolves, so the scientist called them werewolves. The shot came with side effects that the scientists weren't expecting. Side effects like intense hunger, and shapeshifting between human and wolf. These side effects didn't kick in until the babies were older, once the scientist realized they tried to take back what they had created. The werewolves killed and fed on the scientist, escaping and soon blending in with regular humans. After years of reproducing, the babies began to be born werewolves, and it became a gene that couldn't be eradicated.
Many years passed and people began to figure out that werewolves walked among them. The werewolves went into hiding, doing their best to act as if they went extinct. Articles began to flow into the public about how the government made the werewolves, and the people began to wonder what else the government could make. Soon other countries learned about America's mischievous lab play. When it was released that America had made the werewolves to create a stronger army for war, other countries became uneasy, and had to figure out how to stop America from creating anything else. A bomb was dropped on the labs that the werewolves were created in, killing thousands. America struck back, causing World War lll. With a chaotic war on the rise, people were forced to mingle with the werewolves as we all watched the world as we knew it fall.
