After weeks of persuasion mom finally agreed to let me go. I guess she felt I had enough strength and energy to travel. That same day I ran up to my blue room, and searched my closet. I needed to wear cute clothes,( in case I saw someone from my school. Or even a cute boy.) Without any hesitation, I grabbed all my Hollister and Forever 21 shorts. Then my PACSun tanks.
"Now what will I wear on my feet," I thought. I searched for my white converse, and sandals. Just as I turned around. I saw a "pest" standing in the door way of my room. This "pest" was my sister Sydney standing in the doorway. She was 15, but acted and dressed like a 20 yr. old. If you saw her you'd agree too, even stranger thought she was older than me. She had honey blonde hair, and light blue eyes. She's beautiful; yes. But the biggest bitch you'll ever meet.
"What are you doing," she asked. I walked over and grabbed my suitcase I placed next to my bed.
"Packing, what does it look like I doing," I answered back. She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. ( This is how her bitchy-ness starts.)
"You know what I meant! Why are you packing?" I unzip the suitcase them set my converse and sandals inside. I look back at Sydney. She stares back with a demanding face.
"Mom says we can go to Cape Hatteras after all," I blabbered happily. Sydney pauses then gives a little half smile. She uncrosses her arms and smiles deviously.
"Mom and dad may believe your crappy "dying wish" story, but I don't! I know your just doing this to have them feel sorry, and give you what you want." She interjects. She purposely flips her hair then turns away. She strolls down the hall like a Victoria Secret model on the runway. I wanted to catch up to her, then beat the living sense out her. Oh...wait she doesn't have any! So it wasn't worth it. SHE wasn't worth my time either.
Sadly another part of me wanted to curl up, and cry. To think my own sister doesn't even care! She thinks that I'm faking my own death, it hurts so much. I guess this wasn't gonna be the vacation I had planned after all...
