Pref 68 - Valentine's Day

Michael:

It is you and Michael's first Valentine's together, but you had spent weeks trying to figure out what to get him. You finally decided to just keep it simple and buy him something that you knew he would love: hair dye. He had been talking about wanting to dye his hair back to a brown color, but has not gotten around to it. Now, you are sitting in your chair, waiting for Michael to show up to exchange gifts. You have no idea how long you will be waiting, but luckily he rings the doorbell. 

"Hey Mikey." You say, opening the door and seeing him holding a dozen red roses and a box of chocolates.

"I know it is cliche, but you told me that you like cliche." 

"Yes, I do." You say, taking the flower to set on the inn table. Then, you request for him to put the chocolates in the fridge and then come back to the living room. Then, you tell him to sit on the couch and close his eyes.

When you let him open his eyes, you are holding a little bear and the little bear is holding the brown hair dye. 

"You paid attention to what I have been talking about." He says and looks really excited.

He stands up, takes the bear, and then hugs you and kisses you sweetly.

"I would not rather have anyone else be my Valentine ever again. I want you to be my only Valentine for the rest of time." You cannot help blushing and he kisses you sweetly again.

Calum:

Last time that Valentine's had rolled around, you and Calum had newly been in a relationship and did not really truly celebrate it, but this year you know that Calum is going above and beyond so you had to think of something, which led you to corresponding with his family and the boys to get him a brand new bass that he will love. 

You hear the screen door open and you rush in with the bass to greet him. His eyes widen and you just want to kiss that grin off his face, but you cannot because he is holding a huge teddy bear. 

"This is for when I am not here to comfort you. He is basically my size."

"This is so you can remember me while you are on tour. This bass is almost as beautiful as me."

"Very true. How did you know to get this one?"

"Your family and the boys helped me out, because I honestly had no idea what bass you would like."

"They helped you a lot then cause this is the bass that I wanted."

"Ashton was the most help."

"Figures." He says, and hugs you.

"I love you, Cal."

"I love you more, (Y/N). Happy Valentine's baby. You are my forever and always."

"Forever and always yours." You say and he kisses you as if this was your first and last all wrapped up in one. You have never been so in love and cannot help but envision your future with him, happy and lively.

Ashton:

You and Ashton had decided weeks ago that you were not going to buy gifts for each other. You both find it silly and want to just spend time with each other. You two decide to just have a movie night indoors and to order pizza for the evening. You knew that it was going to be a perfect evening.

Ashton shows up with a pizza box in hand and bread sticks and cinnamon sticks on top. He also had a two liter of Dr. Pepper to help wash down the food. You invite him in and he sets everything on the coffee table. 

"I know that we decided that we were not going to get each other anything, but I got you something completely inexpensive that I thought you needed." Ashton says hopping up and opening the door. You fight the urge to follow him and decide to just wait. 

He comes back with a single rose in hand and a note. 

Dear (Y/N), 

I love you 

even if you are crazy

and all of the details are hazy

but you are amazing. 

Happy Valentine's

you are the best girlfriend ever.

Ashton x

You had no words, but hug him for a while.

"Thank you Ashton." You say, overly happy. 

You both sit down, start Riverdale, and eat pizza to your heart's content. 

The evening could not have been more perfect and both of you just were able to appreciate each other that night while cuddling and falling even more in love. 

Luke:

Luke told you that he probably would not be able to come over for Valentine's Day because of practicing with the boys and you tried not to mind, but it did bother you a little that you would not get to see your boyfriend on a day celebrating love and companionship. You thought deep in your heart that he was lying, but he wasn't showing up. Until about 3pm. 

You hear a ring on your doorbell and go to answer it. Whenever you open the door, no one is there but there is a blanket, two fake roses, a bag of kit kats, and a note. 

Dear (Y/N),

I love you. Hope I did not worry you too much. 

You were pleasantly surprised, but really hoped that he did not leave. You put all of your stuff up and are about to shut the door whenever Luke finally gets out of the bushes. 

"Did you think I left?"

"Yeah, I honestly thought you just dropped it off and left."

"Sorry, but I did not." 

"Come on in, Valentine."

He instantly attacks you with kisses before you can even shut the door.

"Did I surprise you?"

"Definitely."

"Good." He says with a goofy grin on his face.

"You are a dork."

"I know."

You two just hang around and you thank him for the gifts, but you bring down his present then. You had created a poster board with lots of cheesy quotes on them. You also taped gum to the poster board and made your own poem for him. He loved it and could not stop saying how much he loved you. You also gave him a stuffed penguin, which he instantly became obsessed with. You were proud of yourself for being so clever.
