Pref 46 ~ Brother's Best Friend (Pt. 2)

Michael~

"Michael has the hots for you and I don't like it at all." Your brother says when he goes to the bathroom.
"It's not my fault I am his type." You tease.  You hate being younger than him but it has it's perks. Mom always picks your side.

When Michael enters the room, you walk instantly back into the kitchen. You just don't want to aggravate your brother anymore.

"Why the hell did she walk off? Does she not like me?" You can hear Michael ask from the living room.

"Yeah, she doesn't like you." Your brother says, and that's when he crossed the line and you storm out of the kitchen.

"I'm tired of you always telling me what to do. I am less than a year younger than you and I better get more respect here. I know you can't stand that your best friend and I like each other but get over yourself, okay? I am human and I can't let you tell me what to do anymore!" After you state your opinion, you run up to your room trying not to cry.

You hear footsteps coming up the staircase, shortly following afterwards is a knock on your bedroom door.

"Can I come in?" Michael says on the other side of the room.

"Y-Yeah." You stutter out and unlock the door.

"I'm sorry your brother is so mean."

"I'm used to it, I just didn't want him to ruin things between us."

"Good thing you spoke up." He says, with his lips inches from yours. You connect your lips to his without any warning. He kisses back causing butterflies to erupt in your stomach.

"Date tomorrow after school?" He asks.

"Of course." You say, biting your lip.

Calum~

"I'm going on a date with your sister today... I'm giddy like a school girl." You hear Calum say from the living room. You can already tell that your brother is rolling his eyes right about now.

With your heels, skinny jeans, and flowery crop top on you walk down the stairs and see Calum's eyes go wide.

"You look gorgeous." He says, looking like the heart eyed emoji. You just laugh and walk up to him being almost his height now.

"Can I kiss you?" He asks, and you nod. Your lips connect and the spark ignites.

"You two are gross, just get your lunch date over with. Maybe you two will annoy each other enough and never talk again."

"Even if we did annoy each other to no end, we would still hang just to anger you." You say, making your brother scowl and Calum laugh.

"You are cute when you annoy your brother, to be honest." Calum says, making you blush and your brother even angrier.

"Awe, he's all red in the face. You poor thing, don't over heat." You say, squeezing his cheek.

"I am totally done with you two." He says, storming off.

"Wow, he's going to hate me now." Calum says, and you kind of sympathize for him.

"If you had to choose him or me who would you choose?" You ask him, out of curiosity.

"I don't want to offend your brother more than I already have today." He says, causing you to crack a smile.

"Ready for our date now?"

"Yes."

Ashton~

The remainder of the night, Ashton and your brother play video games and talk about girls. Ashton doesn't seem interested, you could tell. You weren't snooping... they are just super loud and your brother's room is right next to yours. Plus, the walls have never been very thick, so you can hear almost anything coming out of his room.

"Why do you like my sister?"

"You are just really rude to her, plus she is super cute. Is there a problem with liking your sister?"

"Not necessarily, but I just don't really like that you stuck up for her instead of me."

"You can't just be a dick to your sister, that isn't right."

"Oh yeah, you are like the father figure for your family..."

"Yeah, my dad left me. That doesn't make me any less of a person."

"I'm not sa-"

"I bet your sister is way more considerate of my feelings and family than you are." Ashton says, angered. You can tell he stormed out of your brother's room so you open the door for him.

"Hey Ash, you want to talk?" You say, stepping out in the hallway.

"Did you hear that?"

"Our walls are kind of paper thin." You say, causing him to crack a smile and walk towards your room.

"Is your brother always like this?"

"Sadly, yes."

"Good thing you aren't that way."

"Yeah."

"We are still on for the morning, right?"

"Of course. I wouldn't miss it for the world."

Luke~

"What the hell are you two doing?" Your brother asks when he enters the room again.

"We were making out, stay caught up." Luke says, not once taking his eyes off of yours.

"You have beautiful eyes." You say, seeing his face light up at the compliment.

"You have beautiful.. everything." He says, causing you both to laugh.

"You two are G-R-O-S-S, gross." Your brother says.

"Oh, we can go to my room if you want." You say, having a boost of confidence.

"No, you guys can have the living room. I'll see you later Luke." Your brother says, walking out of the room. He isn't angry but he isn't happy either, so you didn't know what to do.

"You should go cheer him up." You say to Luke.

"I probably should."

"Go on then, go cheer him up."

"I don't want to get off this couch." He says, wrapping his arms around your waist.

"You need to cheer him up, I don't care if you are being lazy. I don't want him to hate me for taking you away from him. Now go or I won't let you talk to me ever again."

"You wouldn't." He says, shocked that I would even say something like that.

"I would. Now, get up and go." You say, pulling his arms off of you.

"Sis, he can stay on the couch. You care and I've always known you have. You two are super cute. Have fun. I can spend time with Luke later."

"How about a date tomorrow?" Luke asks, getting off the couch.

"That'd be great, now go hang with your best friend."

"Yes ma'am." Luke says, following your brother into his room.
