Kidnapped by Killers - Part II

Chapter 24 - It Can't Be..

'What the f**k!?'

It stopped and we opened our eyes to see Slender in between.

"You guys GET OUT!" His voice was filled with authority and we all flinched. 'So the static was done by him?..I ALMOST FAINTED!'

I looked at Valerie and saw how clueless her face were. so...SHE wasn't affected and so were Jamie and Sally. But apart from the 3 of them we were all clutching our ears while kneeling on the floor.

"LOOK AT WHAT YOU'VE DONE!" He yelled pointing at the messed up dining table, food was scattered everywhere, the table was slightly turned. I ignore him and turned to May.

"Round 2?" I raised my brow smirking at May.

"Bring it then!"

We both raced outside and continued the fight.

I woke up sweating heavily.

"Wha-what...happend?" I asked looking around the darkness. Pain immediately shot through y whole body. But more on my shoulder. I brought my hand to put pressure on it.

I felt something move behind me. "BEN?" Was the first person who came into mind. He turned the lamp on.

"Hey. how're you feeling?" he asked putting a hand on my back.

"Not fine.. My shoulder hurts like heck and My head hurts." I said clutching my head. "What happened?" I asked again.

"You don't remember?" he asked.

"N-no..." I shook my head as I look at him confused.

"You just-" He sighed. "Never mind.." he looked at me and smiled. I decided to drop it and sat up.

I went to the door, but before I could go BEN stopped me.

"Where are you going?" he asked. "Slenderman. He might do something to at least take the pain away or lessen it." I simply said and walked out.

I figured he could help ease the headache too. I went downstairs and was surprised when Jeff patted my back from behind.

"Nice one you did yesterday kiddo!" he said as he messed up my hair.

"What?" I stared at him, hoping to find even the slightest hint of what he was talking about.

He smirked and went to the living room. Then I saw Jack going out of the kitchen and into the living room but before he did I grabbed his arm and he came into a halt.

"Jack!"

"Yes?" He asked. His voice was so calm and collected...as always.

"Uh.. Did something happen ?yesterday?" I asked hoping to find an answer from him. "Nothing much really..." He shrugged his shoulders. I nodded and followed him to the living room.

I noticed they were all staring at me...even Smile the dog.

"Marielle... Are you feeling okay?" Sally asked.

"N-No not really. My body hurts and my shoulder stings." I said with my hand still placed on top of my left shoulder. "And my head hurts real bad."

"Wait.. Did something happen yesterday?" I asked looking at all their faces and expressions. "You don't remember?" Hoodie asked.

"Was there something important to remember?" I asked but I didn't wait for an answer. "Well.. I remember having dinner and then...May came in and slapped Jeff screaming about him murdering her the second time...then I.." I trailed of trying to remember what did happen next.

"You..?" Masky asked, as if there were more to the story.

"I-I.. All I saw was darkness. As if I were in a dreamless sleep."

Slenderman nodded as if processing every word coming out of my mouth. Suddenly an arm wrapped on my waist from behind.

"Hey. So... What are you guys talking about?" BEN asked but he was only looking at me.

"About what happened yesterday. Do you have any clue what?"

His face darkened. "BEN?" I asked "You don't remember do you?" He asked. "Remember what? Can someone tell me already? The curiosity is killing me."

"You were the one who killed May..." BEN said.

"W-wha-" Were the only words I could manage to choke out due to utter shock. I then let out a laugh, though it came out as a nervous one. Thinking it was a joke. I stopped when I saw how serious they all were. "Wait are you guys really serious?"

They nodded for an answer. "You mean..." I put my hand to my head. Starting to breath heavily. My mind is having a hard time to process this.

Slenderman sighed and walked up to me. He stood infront of me and put his hand on my shoulder.

"You remember when you drowned and forgot about all of us?" He asked. I nodded as I recall the memory.

"Yes.." I answered. "But what does that have to-"

"You died..." Slender said straightforwardly "You did not survive.. An evil being entered you, but don't worry child half of it was still you. The evil being was weak, and even the slightest feeling of anger/jealousy would awaken it."

All of us were shock. "That. That's not.." I manage to utter those words. I felt as if there was a lump in my throat "It's not.." I choked out shaking my head refusing to believe it.

I felt BEN hold my hand and squeezed it gently. Trying to calm me down.

"How come you only know about this Slender? And how come you never told us?" Jack asked.

" I didn't know then either.. Apparently we did not read the next page of the book. Containing the other details of the story. So we never knew. but I reread it after it accidentally fell to the floor and opened up on that page. But I shrugged it off since Marielle seemed to be doing fine." he stated calmly.

"Fine? Fine?! You call this fine? I just... killed someone and you call it fine? Killing might be an 'okay-thing' for you guys but not for me!" I yelled. Slender just looked at me. I didn't know if he felt sympathy or he just didn't care at all.

"I'm sorry Marielle." I felt Valerie and Jamie wrap their arms on me. I felt a small arm on my waist too, and saw Sally.

I gave them a small smile.

"So...that explains her eyes turning red!" Masky said. "M-my eyes?" I wiped the tears away.

"Yes. When that evil being takes over. Your eyes change to a red color." Slender said.
