"Another day. Another tiring day."

I walked from my apartment to my usual hangout place which I can call my second home as well. So whenever you didn't see me at my apartment, you probably know where I am at.

"One latte please."

"Name, ma'am?"

"Mimi."

Every time I go here, it's always the same routine - me ordering a latte, them asking for my name, me telling my name then they'll nod and go start making my coffee.

It's always the same. For almost a couple of weeks now. I don't even know why they still can't remember my name. Ugh!

As usual, I look for a place to sit while I wait for my coffee...

...and for someone

Well... not really. But I hope to see him today just like I did yesterday and the day before.

I looked at my watch, waiting for the exact time where he opens the door and enters without looking anywhere but his phone, then goes straight to counter and orders his coffee then he'll look around to find a place to sit and at some circumstances, he'll find one either in front or beside me.

It's always been like this. Same people, same scenario. Nothing changes..

..but I like it.

I always see him here and we sometimes sit together but until now... I still don't know his name. I've been trying to look at his cup to see what name is written on it but it's always facing his side so there's no use. I also always misses the chance to hear his name when his order is finally done because I sometimes am so into my own thoughts.

I sometimes want to just ask him but it's too blatant to do so and he may think bad about me.

"Mind if I sit here?"

Here I go again.. Hearing imaginable things again. I think I need to lessen my coffee intake because I might get paranoid sooner or later if don't.

"Uhm.. Mind if I sit?"

Omo.. There it is again.. Why am I hearing his voice?

"Uhmm... Excuse me, miss. Can I take this seat?" I felt a little nudge on my shoulder so I looked up and got a little heart attack to what I saw.

It's him.

Omo.. Now I can also see him? This is bad. Very bad.

"Excuse me, miss.. Is there something wrong? I've been asking for a few times now but you just stared at me."

Shit.

"Oh.." I looked away. "I'm s-sorry.. I'm just t-thinking about something. S-sorry."

"O--kay.. So, can I take this seat?"

"Y-yeah.. Sure."

Why am I freaking stuttering?!

"Okay. Thanks." He smile and sat beside me.

He smiled at me.. He freaking smiled at me!

I secretly stared at him, trying to memorize his facial features in my brain. He freaking have a very beautiful nose, almond-shaped eyes, thin lips with a mole on it's upper right. Damn.. He looks so dreamy. I can stare at him for the whole day.

But the barista called me for my coffee.. Ugh!

Party pooper.

I slowly stood up while cursing the barista in my thoughts for ruining my daydreaming. If it wasn't for their coffee and to him, I will not come back here.

I went back to my seat and saw him still sitting there and already is drinking his coffee.

How'd he get his? I've just been at the counter.

I looked back at him but his still focused on his phone. I wanna look at what he's doing but that's invading privacy so nah.

I tried to distract myself from him so I just looked down at my coffee and watches how it goes up through the straw and goes down again. Good thing that today's Saturday so that means I have no work so I can waste my time here at the café which I don't mind as long as he's also here.

I didn't realize that I've been doing that for a few moments now until I heard someone call my name.

"Huh?" I looked up and looked at whoever called me.

"Mimi."

That voice...

Could it be?

But naaah... How did he know my name?

"Mimi."

There it is again.

I've looked everywhere and saw no one looking at me.

So I have no choice but to look at him.

DAMN! HE'S LOOKING AT ME! I REPEAT, HE'S LOOKING AT ME!

I quickly looked away to unmatch his gaze.

"Keep calm, Misun. Keep calm." I keep on repeating those words in my head. Then when I finally get myself calm, I looked back at him. "Yes?"

He smiled..again. Why the fuck is he always smiling like that at me?! "Hey.. You're a regular here, huh?"

"Uhmm.. Ye. I think so."

"Hmm.. You're new here? I mean, in this town or just in a vacation?"

"I'm new. Just moved in a few weeks ago."

"Oh... with your fam? Friends?

Why does he suddenly get interested in me?

"Naahh.. I live alone. Work matters."

"Oh... That's awesome and kinda brave."

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"Well.. This town is kinda known for having loads of crime scenes and other dirty stuffs so I think it's kinda brave for a new girl like yourself to live alone."

"Oh.. Is that so?"

"Mhm..."

"But it feels like this is a very peaceful place."

"You just still don't know what to expect so if I were you, I'd either move back to my hometown or have a roommate."

"Nahh.. I think I'll be fine. I know some taekwondo so I kinda can protect myself."

"Alright.. That's great to hear then." He smiles again.

One more smile and I'll definitely faint.

"By the way.. How'd you know my name? Are you a stalker or something? Maybe you're one of them."

He chuckled.

Damn. He chuckled. It's much more deadly than his smile.

"You got that wrong, miss. I ain't a stalker not one of whoever is them you're pertaining to."

"Then how'd you know my name?"

"I think you forgot that your cup has a name on it. Didn't you?"

I looked down and looked my cup. I just slapped my face in my thoughts for being such a stupid human being.

That was so embarrassing.

"Oh.." I chuckled awkwardly. "I guess I did. Hi I'm Mimi." I offered my hand for a handshake. "What's yours?"

He took my hand and we did a handshake.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Jay."
