Ok so this is my first time writing oneshots so I'm starting of with jun x reader and the reader here is Chinese so I'll be using bold for Chinese when they speak Chinese

Moving to Korea was really a big step for me. Ever since my parents divorced and my mom married a man from Korea, I had to move out with her and leave behind my sister,my home and basically everything i had known my entire life and it was terrifying. Worst part is i have no frickin clue how to speak korean. I can understand some phrases but other than that i have no idea. Yup that's right I'm Chinese and leaving China was a big step. Unfortunately now I'm going to go through hell living in Korea .

Next month im going to a local highschool to complete my senior year and after that...well...who knows. Though i know for a fact that as soon as i get the money im moving back to China because i cant stand being away from my home.

Time skip

It was finally the day where I enter a new school called Pledis High. Apparently this school is known for their dance and music programs which is really lucky for me because I love to sing.

Entering a new school is never easy whether I be in China or Korea the experience is always the same, with the social awkwardness and having no friends. That's why I like to keep it low and just go with the crowd and just make sure I don't cause any trouble.

" ah I'm gonna be late" I quickly ran as fast as I could because I got delayed in the teachers room since I couldn't understand what they were saying.
"Ow!" I suddenly hit someone as soon as I turned a corner

"I'm so sorry!" I apologized not realizing he may not have understood what I just said

"It's alright I wasn't looking where I was going anyways" the boy replied

I looked at him dumbfounded and I think he saw my confused look as well.

"You speak Chinese?????" I half yelled because I was really happy that someone spoke the same language as me because learning Korean was getting really frustrating

"Yeah and I can see your new here. And considering your Chinese I'm guessing you just moved here and can't speak much Korean. I'm junhui by the way but please call me jun" the boy introduced himself

"Ah my name is (y/n) and yeah my Korean sucks so it's a relief that I found someone he spoke the same language as me" I replied

"Well (y/n) if you have any problems you can come to me. Oh by any chance are you looking for room 3A?" Jun asked

"Yeah how'd you know?" I asked

"Our teacher announced that we were having a transfer student so I thought it was a coincidence that I met you" jun replied

" and I'm glad I bumped into an amazing girl like you" he added but I didn't understand cause he spoke in Korean

"Jun what did you say?" I asked

"Anyways lets get going since we're already late" Jim avoided my question and began walking

"Hey!! Wait a minute jun what did you say!?! You know I can't understand Korean that well!!" I yelled as I followed him and I kept pestering him to tell me but he wouldn't budge. Either way I'm glad I met jun cause not only can I speak comfortably around him but I had a feeling the first time I saw him that we might become very close.
