"Thomas, your bus is here!"
Thomas had flopped on his bed, lying on it tiredly. Having the superhero duty was quite tiring, plus he had forgot to do his homework and mister Cowell will probably kill him for that. Oh well. It has been going great so far...
"Thomas!"
"Coming!" The brunetted yelled to his mother, getting up from the bed with a grunt and grabbing his bag.
As he was making his way down towards the door his mother stopped her.
"And where's my kiss?" Mrs. Parker tilted her head, folding her arms.
Thomas rolled his eyes and pecked his mother's cheek. "Bye!"
"Bye Tom, love you- Wait, did you take your lunch?!"
Thomas fastened his pace as he was getting close to the school.
Of course, he wouldn't be excited for getting back to school. If there wasn't a certain someone who he expected to see next to his locker.
That thought made Thomas's stomach flip and convice him that life wasn't that miserable.
And that was all thanks to Newton Stacy.
