Everyone shows courage. Though we know that Aro's army, my family that is building an army against me, is moving against us. Soon we will face the dark gifts of my psychotic cousin Jane. And worse, the paralyzing vapor of her twin brother Alec, who also happens to be married to Dantel, who can rob you of sight, sound, and touch. We're in the Living Room, as I'm sitting next to Edward. "Aro will want us incapacitated before he attacks. Jane and Alec will try and take me out first because I can anticipate their moves." He says, and everyone looks at me. "Too bad we don't all have your shield, Baby Lucifer." Garrett says, smiling at me. "Doesn't help me fight, though." I say. "No, but you could help the rest of us, if you could project it." Tanya says, and I look at her. "What do you mean?" I ask. "I mean shield someone other than yourself." She says. "Is that possible?" I ask. "Gifts can be developed. Over time." Carlisle says. "At first, mine was just in my palms. Now I can radiate it all over my body." Kate says, and I dash in front of her. "How do you do it?" I ask, and she sighs, and I grab her left hand. "Tell me." I say. "Ow." She says. We're outside, getting ready to train. "You need to visualize it. See how it moves. What color it is." Kate says, as I'm trying to concentrate. "Now picture it expanding. Will it to go begin you." She says, as I push forward, and can feel some of it moving, and it stops, and she glances at Edward. "I think he needs something to motivate him." She says, and Edward steps forward, taking off his Wedding ring, and places it on my right ring finger. "Hell, no." I say. "It's all right. I can take it." He says. "He says that now." Garrett says, as I look at him, and back to Edward. "Focus, Corn Cob, or he's gonna be hurting." Emmett says. "Edward, in not ready to do this yet." I say, and she grabs his right hand with hers, and I see sparks and hear the crackling, as he grunts and falls, as she lets his hand go. "I'm sorry, I said I wasn't ready." I say. "Dude, you're not motivating him." Emmett says, as Edward stands up. "You want to try?" He asks, as I look at Emmett, and he has his hands up in self defense, and I look back to Edward, and concentrate again, focusing my energy, as she touches his neck with her right hand, and I step forward. "Kate!" I exclaim, as Edward groans, and she takes her hand off. "You seem to lack incentive. Shall I go see if Andrew's awake?" She asks, smiling. "Are you fucking crazy?" I ask, stepping in front of her, glaring at her. "All right. This one's on full power." She says, holding up her right hand, and Edward and I look at each other, and back to Kate, and Edward closes his eyes, as I focus all of my energy, based on what we've endured. From meeting, to James. From my Birthday to Volturi. From Proposal to Honeymoon. From life and death, and I picture it expanding into a golden color, and express it onto Edward, and I see Kate touch his right arm in my peripheral vision, and he doesn't groan at all, and she let's her hand go. "I couldn't even feel it." Edward says, smiling at me, as my gift expands itself, throwing Kate into a tree, and the sky begins to start turning black and it gets super windy, as my gift seems to keep expanding. "Edward, what's happening?!" I exclaim, raising my voice due to the powerful wind that keeps coming up. "It's your gift. It's expanding. You need to stop it." He says, and I take a deep breath, as I see everyone run outside, and the shield ends, and the sky turns normal, as I smile at Edward. "Now that is one kick ass power." Garrett says, as I laugh. "Should we go again?" I ask, smiling, and Edward steps back. "Emmett?" He asks. "I'm good." Emmett says. It's nighttime, as I'm at my house, in a gray V-neck and black underwear, looking at the note Alice wrote, as I pick it up with my right hand, and I set it down, hearing light footsteps from behind me. Edward's. "It's strange. Physically, I feel like I could demolish a tank." I say, and he sits on the left side of me. "Mentally, I just feel.. drained." I say, and he puts his right hand over my back and to the right side of my waist, and touching my left wrist, gently. "How about a bath?" He asks, smiling, and I smile back, and he kisses my shoulder, and puts his right hand up my shirt, and I look at him, smiling. "I do remember how to undress myself." I say. "Yeah, I just do it so much better." He says, smiling, and I give a light chuckle, as he rubs my stomach, and I pick up the note with my right hand, looking at it. "Cor." He says, and I turn to him. "I've had a bad habit of underestimating you." He says, and I look confused. "Every obstacle you've faced, like James, your Grandfather, my absence, the Volturi, and the Snake. I'd think you couldn't overcome it. And you just did. You fought back and won. You're the reason I have something to fight for. My family, no matter how deranged yours is." He says, and I give a light chuckle, and he presses his lips against mine, and we start making out, as he puts his hand down, and I place my right on his chest. "I'll go run that bath now." He says, smiling, and stands up, and walks off, and I look back at the note, and flip it over with my right hand, and look at the bookcase, and dash to it, grabbing the Merchant of Venice with my left hand, and open it to where the missing page is, and connect them. I turn the page of the book over, and see Alice's handwriting. "J. Jenks, Seattle. Destroy this. Young God." I read to myself. Alice made sure only I would get the message. Because only my mind will be safe from Aro. I don't understand what Young God means, as in the Halsey song? I close the book after hearing footsteps approach, and toss the book and note into the fireplace, and see Edward, smiling at me, and I walk over to him. "The bath is ready." He says, smiling, and I peck his lips. "Everything is going to be okay." I say, smiling. It's Christmas Eve, as I'm driving to Charlie's, with Andrew and Paul. "I'm surprised you took a break from Jedi training." Paul says. "If I don't take Andrew to my Dad, he'll come to us. Twenty eight vampires, one human." I say, and look at him, shaking my head, and back to the road. "Not so great." I say. "I know that's what you told Edward." He says, and I look at him, and he exhales, and I look back to the road. "Whatever. I'm just glad to get away from all those reeking bloodsuckers." He says, and I glance at him, and he scoffs. "I'm sorry. I know. They're the good guys. But, come on. Dracula One and Two are.." He says, and we all burst out laughing. "Creepy." He says, as we laugh louder. "I don't think my younger brother needs help with Jedi training. More like suppressing it." Andrew says, smirking, as I smile at him through my rear view mirror. "Ok, what's on your radio?" Paul asks, going to Pandora, and Young God plays, and he's about to change it. "Don't. I love this song." I say, slapping his right hand away. You're the King and I'm the Queen and we'll stumble through Heaven. Alice's note made sense now, entirely. She found a way to Heaven to look for evidence. My birth certificate. I soon pull up to Charlie's house, as it's decorated for Christmas, and I see him and Sue Clearwater run out the door, as we all get out of the car, and walk over to Sue and Dad, as he and Andrew hug and release. "If it isn't two of my favorite werewolves and.. whatever the hell you are." Dad says, smiling at me, and I give a light chuckle. "Come on inside. Lunch is on the table." Sue says. "We got a tree to decorate, right Andrew?" Dad asks, as Andrew smiles. "I've actually got a few errands to run, guys. I'll be back soon, ok?" I ask, smiling, and look at Paul, and get in the car, shutting it with my right hand, and drive off. Alice's note gives me a new sense of hope. Maybe she has a plan for us after all. And maybe J. Jenks is the key. Because even though Antonio was imprinted on, and it's the law of the Volturi, they cam still use it against us. I soon arrive to Seattle, as I'm in all black except for my silver tie, and grab my black umbrella with my right hand, and open my door with my left, and get out, closing the door behind me, as I open my umbrella, and walk to The Domencica restaurant. I walk in and close my umbrella, walking down the hallway, and find a hostess. "I'm meeting Mr. Jenks." I say. "Right this way." She says, and I follow him, as he pulls the black see through curtain with his right hand, and I walk in, seeing a dark skinned man, and he stands up, walking over to me. "Mr. Cullen." He says, offering his right hand, and I shake it with my right. "Hello." I say, smiling, and we release. "I'm so happy you called, please sit." He says, and I walk over to my chair, and sit down, and he pushes it in for me. "Thank you." I say, smiling, and he sits down in front of me, smiling. "I always meet my private clients here. It's more comfortable than the office." He says. "And it's more public." I say, nodding. "Ah." He says, and chuckles. "What kind of work do you do, J?" I ask, and he smiles more. "Oh, you know, this and that. It's always different, which keeps it interesting." He says. "Have you known Alice and Jasper long?" I ask. "I've been working with them for more than twenty years. And my late partner knew Jasper fifteen years before that. He is, uh, unusally well preserved." He says. "Indeed he is." I say, nodding. "I trust that Mr. Jasper is enjoying his vacation." He says. "He didn't tell you where he was going, did he?" I ask. "No, no. He just mentioned that he was leaving when he came by to place his order." He says. "I assume that his order is ready?" I ask. "Of course. I've never been late for a delivery." He says, pulling a yellow envelope from his left coat pocket, sliding it over the table to me, as I look around, placing my right hand on the folder, as he looks around, and I open it, seeing fake passports, birth certificates, and IDs. I open the passports, seeing Antonio and Seth as different names. Tobias Rivers for Seth and Ashton Codred for Antontio. "Is there a problem?" He asks. "No. Not at all. This is exactly what I needed. Thank you." I say, placing the forged documentation back inside the folder, and close it up. It's nighttime, as I arrive to Carlisle's house, as the Cullens are in the Living Room, as I smile at all of them, and he walks over to me. "Did you get what you needed on your errand run?" He asks, smiling. "Exactly what I needed." I say, and peck his lips. I walk into the bathroom, pulling the curtain back with my right hand, and grab my old school bag with my left hand, and toss it on the table, and dash to the closet to grab the green box of hats, and hold it back with my right hand, and pull out the cash hidden underneath, and stuff it in the bag, and write a note for Antontio. "To Antonio, my dearest friend, I'm glad to have met you on my first day at Forks High School. I didn't like having my picture taken, but now I'm glad you took it. I thought we would have a lifetime of friendship to endure with each other, especially since it seems like Seth and Leah will be my new step siblings. I know why Alice left me clues, it's all in a matter to keep you safe from the Volturi, my deranged birth family. Everything you and Seth will need is in this pack. Seth will protect you and he'll help you learn about the Ticuna legends." I say, and stuff the note in the bag. "It's a romantic notion, isn't it?" Alistair asks, as I look at him. "That a righteous few can defy a great evil. I must admit, you even had me believing. For a moment." He says, and chuckles. Well, good luck. You're gonna need it against that crazy family of yours. Cheers." He says, and turns arouns, and walks off.
