As I look into the past,
Everything appears
To be different
From where I am now

I used to wake up every morning
With a big smile on my face
I would welcome the day
With a warm smile
And a positive vibe

Knowing that you're there next to me

You'd mumble my name in your sleep
And it's the music I could never forget

And the smell of your hair
It's the sweetest smell
I could always remember
A thing I have entirely fell

I really don't know what you did
It seems like you hypnotized me
With your dimples and twinkling eyes
With you, all I feel is magic

You made me feel
Like I can do anything
You were my bright sunshine
Who sheds light in my darkness

You were once a stranger to me
Who became a special someone
A being I never thought existed
Seemed to have gotten into me

It felt those moments could last
Never even occured to me
The time that flew so fast
With you by my side
Time would stop

We were two different beings
Who met by a chance
I

never knew that moment
Would someday come to an end

B

ut with a blink of an eye
Everything that we have
Is nowhere to be found

The sunshine that kept me alive
Is now nowhere near me
All I can see are tiny little lights
A reminder of what have once been

All those things we have said
All the places we've been
And all our secret little things
I

t shows like it didn't matter to you

You made me believe
You gave me hope
You taught me how to dream

You showed me the possibilities
That we can be together forever

You were the sunshine
On my darkness

But then,

The light became my foe
The sunlight just disappeared
The smile turned into a mourn
And the bright mornings
Became endless nightmares

The beautiful things you showed
I realized
It was all just a tiny peek
What it's like to be happy

Having you in my life seemed surreal
And now, it finally came into an end

You left me hanging
I'm lost in this world
Just wandering around
With no clue where to go

I have no idea where these steps would lead

But I hope someday
I

would find the right path

Then things I do would make sense
I could forget about the sun
And make my own light
Maybe from a fire burning deep in me

And I'd finally get over the sunshine
Who left me in the darkest night
