Chapter 17

She did what I had expected and easily countered the Iron Head and Ferrothorn went crashing into the wall, but he came out as fierce as ever.

"Ferrothorn, use Power Whip!!"

"Leavanny, use Energy Ball to push him back, and follow it up with a nice dose of Solar Beam!!"

Energy Ball knocked him off balance, but it didn't pull him off course, so Ferrothorn continued to attack Leavanny while her Solar Beam attacked him on a large scale at a minimal distance, so both of them felt the impact of the combination of attacks. When the smoke cleared, Leavanny appeared knocked out while Ferrothorn was wobbling around.

"Leavanny is unable to battle!! Ferrothorn is the winner!!", the referee announced.

"Leavanny, return!! You were amazing, girl! Take a good long rest while I clean up the mess. Typhlosion, I choose YOU!!", I roared throwing out Typhlosion's Pokeball and he came out in complete rage for some apparent reason.

"Typhlosion, finish him off with Flame Wheel!!"

Ferrothorn stood no chance as the already angered Typhlosion swept him up in the air with his Flame Wheel, and he fell down on the ground clearly knocked out.

"Ferrothorn is unable to battle!! Typhlosion is the winner!!", the referee announced.

"Return, Ferrothorn! You did a great job! It's all up to you now, my friend!! Lucario, let's finish this!!!" Cameron roared throwing out Lucario's Pokeball.

After seeing each other, our Pokemon began to taunt each other by roaring and sending out minor attacks in their directions.

"Did Feraligatr do something, Typhlosion?", I asked him amused.

He nodded in return and motioned that Feraligatr had eaten his Poffins that Dawn had made for him.

"We're in the middle of a battle, you know? Lucario, use Bone Rush!!"

"Counter that with Lava Plume when he comes close by! That will stop him in his tracks!!"

Lucario stopped halfway when Typhlosion surrounded himself in red hot lava and was ready to spew some on his face if required.

"Fine then! We'll attack from a distance!! Use Aura Sphere!!"

"Dig!!"

Typhlosion dodged the Aura Sphere with ease as Lucario became irritated bit by bit.

"Lucario, use Bone Rush to jump and then use Metal Claw to strike!!"

"Lava Plume again!!"

But this time, it failed as Lucario kept using the Bone as a javelin to hoist himself and landed fully on Typhlosion landing a clean hit. Typhlosion groaned in pain but stood up defiantly.

"Use Brick Break, Lucario and use the same technique if necessary!!"

"Dig!!"

Again, Lucario landed his hit. Typhlosion was weakening, he couldn't soak up more hits like those. Lucario was highly skilled and landed dangerously powerful hits.

"Do it again, Lucario!!"

"GOT IT!! Typhlosion, use Smokescreen and follow it up with Double Edge!!"

This counter caught Lucario totally off guard as he was temporarily blinded by the smoke. Though he could sense Typhlosion by his aura, he couldn't sense a perfect spot to land and fell down on one knee only to face a point blank Double Edge to the face.
