    How can this happen
    
                              
    did you not love me only a day ago
    
                              
    the tears fall 
    
                              
    and so do I
    
                              
    I watch you and her
    
                              
    did I not stand a chance
    
                              
    you said you weren't ready
    
                              
    you said you loved me
    
                              
    were those all lies
    
                              
    lies so that the rejection wouldn't hurt
    
                              
    I begin to doubt you
    
                              
    for a week later
    
                              
    you're with her
    
                              
    and now I truly know
    
                              
    your intent was never harm
