Finally! All the pending deliveries arrived safely to their destination.
I can now take a moment to relax.
Once I get home, I will take a long day of sleep.
Red stop light!
Every vehicle halted as the stop light turned to red.
I looked at my wrist watch.
Fifteen minutes to go before five P.M.
Sigh!
This day has been extremely tiring.
I did all the delivery by myself.
The lady earlier today was quite right about our restaurant!
We were famous for our dumplings and noodles.
My father used to work in a five star class hotel in London and was a famous chef during his time.
When he got married to my mother, both of them decided to own a restaurant. A traditional dumpling-noodle house kind of restaurant.

They decided to come back and made that dream come true.
Everything started well!
They had a lot of customers.
Big companies from the city came to our restaurant just to taste our top presented dishes.
I grew up and witnessed how the people loved our dishes.
The food we make, the atmosphere, the vibe, the ambiance and the people behind all of it, everyone loved the whole scene.
But.....
It did not last!
It was the kind of love that withered and died.
Beep! Beep!
The traffic light changed to green.
I started my engine and drove off.
My thoughts were taken the moment I noticed the traffic light!
Green means go!
And so is the way of life.
I know that we can't bring back the past. My parents were devastated when they decided to cut the numbers of our employees.
Everything collapsed.
From a total of fifty employees, only five remained.
I know my parents tried their very best to revive what was left.
But it was so hard to recover when we knew we had a little hope.
You see,
It all happened when an international famous chef came here in the city and built his own restaurant opposite to ours.
