A Tale of Revenge: Lucy & Levy

Part 1- Sticks and Stones

Lucy POV

I was waking up when I heard a knock on the door. "Just a minute." I called. It took longer than a minute, obviously. When I finished getting ready I opened the door. "Oh hey, Levy." I waved. "Do you wanna walk to the guild with me?" Levy asked. "Yeah!" I exclaimed.

It's been a few months since the whole Tenrou thing went down. People hadn't talked to Lisanna that much until after the 7 years. (Let's just pretend Fairy Tail isn't broke AF, and Twighlit Ogre didn't ever come. K?) But after that, Lisanna had all the attention wrapped around her ugly little finger. Most people started ignoring me after that and called me weak. Since Levy had stood up for me, people also called her weak. The only people who actually respected us were Gajeel, the exceeds, Wendy, the Thunder Tribe, Mira, and Juvia. But Gray wasn't very nice, and Juvia follows him around like thirsty dog.

When we arrived, people started snickering and pointing. "Just ignore them, Lu." Levy whispered. I nodded. "Weaklings, why are you here?" Erza laughed. "Um, why wouldn't we be?" Levy asked. "You guys are just scaredy cats." Erza replied. I was about to say something back as a comeback but I had become numb to these insults, and the words never came out.

Levy took my hand and dragged me out of Erza's sight before things could escalate. I followed her and went with Wendy and the exceeds. "Guys, I can't take this. I want to quit." I bluntly replied. "If you're leaving I'll go too. Things just haven't been the same since Lisanna came back, and I hate it." Levy said sarcastically.

"Lucy come here." Natsu called. Finally, he pays some attention to me. "You're out of Team Natsu. You're so weak and lame. Lisanna is here now, you're no longer needed. You were just a replacement." he said, with no feelings. I clutched my fists. "That's fine by me." I walked off. Now that I was off Team Natsu there truly was nothing left for me here. I walked up to Levy and upon making eye contact, she knew that we were leaving today. "I just need fresh air."

An hour had passed since Levy and I had gone on a little walk. "So we're gonna quit when we get back?" she asked. I nodded. "It's not like anymore damage can be done to us at this point." I sighed stupidly. When Levy and I opened the doors, magic was thrown at us. "Solid Script: Wall!" Levy used her magic, but that didn't hold up long. "HOW COULD YOU HURT LIS?" Natsu yelled throwing fireballs at us. Lisanna was in the corner with scars all over her.

I found it ridiculous that anyone could believe that we hurt Lisanna when we had been outside for the past hour. Sometimes Fairy Tail wizards weren't the smartest of the bunch.

"Just because you were replaced doesn't mean you had to be violent!" Erza yelled. "Well then she can get what she wants! Her spot in Fairy Tail! I'm done!" I yelled, storming to master's office. "Lucy come back here!" Natsu yelled, but I blocked him out.

Levy followed me quickly to the office and shut the door behind her. "Master we can't stay here any longer." I started, hands on my hips. "I see that the return of Lisanna has taken a toll on your relations with the others." he concluded. "I had hoped things wouldn't escalate but I was wrong. For a while it seemed as though you and Lisanna were friends but perhaps she was faking." Master added, trying to make sense of the situation. "I hope you can understand why we have to leave." Levy replied, a bit sad to leave him. Master nodded understandingly. Using magic, our emblems disappeared, signifying this was truly the end. "You two will always be my family." he sniffed as we headed for the door. "Right back atcha." I responded before Levy and I walked out of the guild.

Something tells me we won't be seeing them as friends, but as enemies next time we meet.
