T H E
B E G I N N I N G

It was oddly silent where the young girl stood. Her hearing was impeccable, the soft falling rocks from the mountain and the swift rush of the river all but calming music to her ears. She stood in the middle of a field, it's purple and blues and green grass the only thing keeping her on earth as her mind was somewhere else. Then, disturbing her peace, came the rushed footfalls of unearthly speeds. Then lean arms wrapped around her, in a movement so strong she would have broken if not for her unfaltering strength. "Penny for your thoughts?" Warm, homely, familiar. His voice came in a hush whisper, afraid of disturbing the silence. Silence they don't usually get when so close to their family. But before she could answer, the soft pressure of his lips leaving kisses on her shoulder distracted her. He knew exactly how to get her speechless. "You." He hummed in question, the smile on his lips never once leaving. "What about me?" He kept his lips touching the skin of her shoulder, a habit he had never changed since they've met. What was once so difficult for him was now all he could ever do. "I was just thinking about you. I've missed you." Never stepping away from her, he seemed to have gone closer, if it was any more possible. He continued leaving kisses on her, his lips moving from her shoulder to the sensitive skin on her neck, leaving small nips with his teeth. Then, his lips moved to her cheeks, arms moving from being around her to caressing her hips, hands tightening around her waist. "I'm always here." Their cold skin pressed against each other's, a certain heat in their touch as they drank each other in. "I know you are." She then turned around in his arms, her own wrapping around his neck, pushing his head closer to her's while her fingers tangled it's self in his wild, bronze unruly hair. It was a habit of her's, as was his constant need to be near her. "And I will always be."
