31. Interview and buying rings

They were seated in front of a TV watching a old James Bond movie. Mai was in love with them it was one thing that her dad and her sheered. Matt himself was a lover of Bond movies when Mai told him he would look good as James Bond he told her he would prefer to play a villain in the story then Bond himself. Mai still didn’t know why he thought he could not be Bond but she let it go after they had discussed it the first time.

She cuddled in to his lap as he stroke her hear.

“I have never been this tired in my life. This is even more tearing then performing on stage for four hours.” She told Matt who smiled at her statement

“We will get used to it. But after some time they will live us alone and we can go back to our normal lives.” He told her and she looked at him

“Today was your last day of filming you are free for how long?” she asked him

“I have time if something doesn’t come up why?” she smiles at his stamens

“I might have an idea how to escape the cameras and have a little time for our self.” She said sitting up and kissing him

“And?” he asked

“How about we go to Hawaii?” she asked and he looked at her in shook

“Really? You are serious?” he asked trying to since if she was playing him like she had some time in the past

“Yes. I can’t sand it that every time I try to cross the street I have to say hello to the press.” She told him and he looked at her

“But the press was after you when you were in New York.” She took a deep breath telling him

“Well yes but they didn’t cap in front of my door.” She was right about that this was getting a little bit too much

“Well then I guess we are going to paradise island of Hawaii.” He told her.

This vacation was maybe just the thing they needed. Their love story was no longer the main topic in the news or the magazines. After their return beck in London Matt wanted to go home to see his mum. Mai was fine with it she has some catching up to do with Belinda who was coming tomorrow morning from Madrid.

Matt had packed his stuff and took his car saying that he will be back in a couple of days. The drive to Northampton passed quickly to him although he had been driving slowly. He just kept thinking about the reaction his mum was gonna have when he tells her the news.

When he arrived at his house he could see form his car that the light in the living room was on. Taking the keys for his pockets he opened the door. Walking in her could smelled his moms famous cookies and hear the noise from the TV. He walked in on his mom watching some movie. He didn’t want to disturb her but she also didn’t seem to notice he was there. So he left for the kitchen too look for some food.

After about twenty minutes his mom walked in and almost had a heart attack.

“Matt sweetie when did you come I didn’t hear you?” she said and Matt just smiled at her and shaking his head

“I come about twenty minutes but you were so in to the movie that you didn’t even notice me.” He said and his mother took a seat next to him.

“Now this is not like you to drop in all of a sudden you always call is something wrong? Is it that girl of yours?” she started asking a million questions

“No mum me and Mai are fine actually we are great but there is something I have been meaning to tell you.” Now his mother was seriously concerned
