Kaden wasn't like Luke, he was the complete opposite of Luke. Kaden wasn't even that handsome, but he had his own looks.
I was sitting in the Cafeteria doing my homework when he decided to annoy the hell out of me. He started to poke me in the head, shoulder and face. And god knows how much I hate being poked.
"Kaden! What the hell!" I snapped
"What?" He chuckled
"Drop it!" I rolled my eyes
"Can you do my homework then?" He smiled
"Nu-uh not happening" I said looking away from him
"Why? Psh is that what you call a friend?" He said it dramatically
"Are we even friends?" I raises my brow
"Just do it please?" He pleaded
"No" I said sternly
"Fine. Then no!" He said annoyed and left
Jeez! What is wrong with boys nowadays? I was finished with my third paper essay until..
"Kylie!" Kaden ran and grab my papers
"Kaden!! Give it back! Now!" I screamed
"Not unless you do mine" he said holding it up
"Are you stupid? No! Do it on your own moron!" I crossed my arms
"Then you won't get these papers back" he smirked
"Give it back!" I ran going to him
He raised my papers up with his hands so I couldn't reach it, to the point I was almost hugging him.
"Kylie" he laughed
"Give it back Kaden!" I screamed
"Not unless—" he didn't get to finish he's sentence when my paper flew off his hands and landed on the Canal. My paper was wet and dirty.
He became silent
"Kylie, I'm so—" he started
"SAVE IT!" I interrupted
"Let me help you" he said coming closer
"Kaden! You've done enough! Can't you see?? I've made so much effort in doing this, then look what you did! Leave me the hell alone!" I snapped
My jaw clenched, and my hands tightened. I was so pissed and angry I wanted to punch him in the nose. My anger turned to droplets of tears knowing that the deadline is in 30 minutes. I can't make it.
Abigail saw me then rushed going to where I was sitting.
"Kylie! What happened??" She asked concerned
I pointed at my papers soaked in canal water
"O god" she said in shock "who did this?" She asked looking slightly pissed
"Kaden" I whispered
"What the hell? Why?" She said annoyed "ugh leave him" she said looking for him
Olivia and Madison arrived. Abigail told them the story. I became quite happy because they were helping me write my essay again. Just when 30 minutes were finish, we were finish working on my essay.
"Thank you girls!" I smiled and gave them a bear hug
I was walking through the halls when I heard someone familiar running to my direction.
"Kylie!"
"Huh?" I stopped then looked at who that is
It was Kaden
"What do you want?" I crossed my arms
"Sorry, I'm really sorry" he said pouting
"No"
"Please?"
"No" I smiled sarcastically
He followed me everywhere I went. The park, class, cafeteria and bathroom, nah he stayed outside.
"Kylie Dixon, I'm really sorry for ruining your essay papers. I'm really sorry." He said sincerely
I stopped walking then faced him. I saw how sincere he was, you could see his honesty in his eyes.
"Fine, just don't do that again. Please." I said smiling
He smiled, his eyes sparkled. The corners of his eyes crinkled, the upturn of the corners of the mouth, with or without baring the teeth, and the flexing of the muscles in the apples of one's cheeks.
My week went great, during class I feel him smiling behind my back, and when I look back he'd quickly look into the other direction. Which makes me giggle.
There were times when I just wanted to kill because he was just really annoying, but at the end of the day he'd say sorry
"How come when he does something to us he never apologises?" Andrea looked at me
"I don't know" I chuckled
Days turned to week, months turned to years. I felt like I've known him. My hearts skips a beat whenever he's there. I don't know how to explain these feelings, all I know is, I enjoy my days with him, he turns my gloomy days brighter and always puts a smile on my face.
