"Kylie! Wake up, it's your first day" mom yelled knocking on my door. "Kylie!" She repeated
"Im up!" I groaned
I went straight to the bathroom, washed my face and brushed my teeth. I took a shower and wore my uniform. I looked at myself in front of the mirror.
First day of high school. New school with new faces and new teachers. I was absolutely terrified!
I went to the kitchen and ate my favourite cereal, dad was drinking his coffee and reading the news paper while mom was cooking breakfast.
"Where's Christian?" I asked
Christian's my older brother, he was a college student. I was the complete opposite of him.
"Here" Christian said coming from upstairs
"Morning" I smiled
"Hey little sis, need a ride going to school?" He offered
"Yes please" I chuckled
"Alright, grab your bag then let's hit the road." He said
I went upstairs to get my bag, kissed my mom and dad on the cheeks and said my goodbyes.
"Have fun sweetie!" Mom smiled squeezing my cheeks
"Uh sure mom" I smiled a little
My brother drove me going to school, it was quiet and the silence was killing me.
"You nervous?" He asked concerned
"I'm terrified!" I said holding my head
"C'mon! You can do this" he laughed
"Sure.." I quietly said
We arrived in school, I saw many students. Laughing and smiling, they all know each other. Boys doing doing handshakes, girls squealing and hugging.
"I'll pick you up later?" Christian asked
"Yes"
"Alright, get in there kiddo. You're big enough to go there alone. I don't need to bring you to your classroom don't I?" He teased
"What? No!" I rolled my eyes "Bye" I said
He waved and left off
"Let's do this!" I said to myself
I went inside the campus, I was getting dizzy of all the students and my classroom that I've been trying to find since I arrived.
Finally! I found it. Just in time for the bell to ring. I quickly joined the students in the line going to the classroom. I sat next to a girl, time for me to introduce myself so I wouldn't be a loner for the whole day.
"Hey, my name's Kylie Dixon!" I smiled and introduced myself.
"Hi, my name's Sophia!" She smiled, her cheeks were red and her dimples were visible.
"New student? Because I am" I laughed
"Yes I am" she laughed back
We became good friends with Sophia, she was easy to talk to, and she was absolutely nice. We talked about the school we came from and we talked about all the things we loved.
I made a lot of friends that day, and surprisingly my day was going perfect than I expected.
I was talking to my new friends; Abigail, Madison, and Olivia. Sophia was with her other friends. While I was talking to them I saw him..
He was tall, he had fair skin, he had brown hazel eyes and he had a pointed nose. He was really handsome. The minute I saw him, I was already drooling over him. I had to know his name and what class is he.
I quickly asked Abigail if he knew him and she said she did so I asked her all about him.
"His name's Luke, he's basketball player. He's kinda smart and he's also our classmate too." She said
"WHAT?! Our classmate?? How come I haven't seen him this morning?" I said in shock
"Chill Kylie, he didn't go to class this morning that's why." She laughed
"Oh.. okay. I think I kinda over reacted back there" I said scratching the back of my neck out of embarrassment.
"You think?" Olivia said
We all laughed
"Well, this is going to be a great month" Madison winked at me
"Oh don't you wink at me like something's gonna happen" I pointed at her
"We'll see" the three of them said it together
