today i had gym class.
i participated in square dancing, this unit was my teachers favourite.
before the beginning the teachers explained that some young girls were uncomfortable last year and to respect us; that didn't change a thing.
partner switch to a grade 11, i am 9.
started smooth till a fancy turn was added.
my hand on my back, his elsewhere.

at first i thought it was an accident but when the second came around and more aggressive, i was uncomfortable.
i tried eyeing my friend to tell her what was wrong without speaking.
she couldn't understand me.
head down and anxious i continue with the dance, it's not over yet.
bell rings and we split.
he walks off laughing with friends.
"are you okay" some girls ask "you look uneasy"
"yes i'm fine" "dancing just makes me nervous" my reply is a lie.
i grab my bag and go.
..."mom. a boy touched me with no consent"
