I don't know why, or even when it happened, but I can't talk. Literally.  My tongue is gone.  I guess it's a deformity or something? Apparently it's really rare.  Lucky me.  I don't know nor do I care.  All I know is that is sucks.  The doctors said I'll never be able to talk.  I can hear every little sound, watch people take it for granted.  It's pure torture.

As a mute person, I have two options; both of which I use frequently.  I can use sign language, or I can write.  As I'm a writer, obviously I prefer the second option.

My name is Ariana Mae Sykes.  My eighteen birthday is in 6 months, 1 week, and 2 days.  So obviously I'm 17.

This is my story.
