Will's POV
Lunch was pretty awkward. I barely know Eleven. She killed the demogorgon. She closed the gate. She saved my life. Twice. And I don't know a single thing about her.
I was sitting beside Mike and across from Max. Apparently El had some sort of issue with her, so we had to keep them apart. Lucas and I talked to Max the whole time, while Mike and Dustin kept Eleven occupied.
It was oddly split up. Mike and Lucas were across from each other with their girlfriends on opposite ends of the table. Super awkward. Especially because Dustin and I sat across from the girlfriends and had to keep them distracted.
Max was pretty cool. I liked her. Halloween night was super fun...before my episode anyways. And seriously? No one gets a score that high on Dig Dug.
It was beyond impressive. We mostly talked about our favorite arcade games. I kind of missed the party all talking together at lunch. Maybe this was how it was gonna be from now on.
