Chapter 35: Who Else?

Royalty POV

I listened too the news on tv while I cleaned up and Yaté ate his snacks watching videos on the IPad Set bought him.. I still don't understand why he got it for him but whatever! I finished vacuuming putting it away I straightened up Qua's magazines he had on the table until the tv caught my attention

"Breaking news: Atlanta's famous personal trainer Levi Jones, Reportedly dead at Grady Hospital earlier this morning! Jones was brought in two nights ago due to a brutal fight that left him in critical condition. More information at 11"

I stopped what I was doing and meditated on it.. Qua leaving and coming back late.. I quickly went to the studio and saw Qua listening to a beat

"Why'd you do it?" I asked

"I ain't mean to leave the toilet seat up... I'll take whatever punishment" He chuckled turning the music down

"I mean Levi!! It's on the news.. it's obvious you did it!"

"Look... what was I supposed too do?! Once he got better and got out he was gon come after you no doubt! I wasn't about to let this nigga hurt my family. What? You wanted me to sit around and wait for something too happen? I apologize I lied too you, but I had to do sum.. we can argue about this all day and you can be mad forever, fine but I'm not about to apologize fah killing this nigga" He looked me dead in my eyes

"Are you even looking at the bigger picture of this? If any of this leads back to you, you could go to jail! I don't need you back in jail again... we've come to far to just repeat the same shit that happened a long time ago!" I cried

I didn't want Qua back in jail again.. I couldn't deal with it again especially being pregnant and a child that's already here!

I walked into the county jail to visit Qua for the second time.. it was weird him being in here and especially since it was a possibility I could be pregnant..

I sat at a table waiting for Qua too come out and pretty soon he did with a small smile. I stood up and hugged him tightly never wanting to let go.. I sat across from him and stared at him until he spoke

"You look good" He smiled

"Thanks.. I really miss you"

"I miss you too, baby.. have you found out anymore information about...."

"Each pregnancy test is still coming up positive" I sighed. "I can't have a baby and your in jail.. I can't raise a baby alone"

"I'll figure something out.. I'll be getting out in a month and then we can figure sum out. I got over 2 g's saved up and we can get a place together.. I can take care of us"

I reached over the table and rubbed his cheek with my thumb smiling a little. He always tried to find a way to make sure I was straight before he was.. Qua was that boyfriend you wanted too have in your life 24/7

"I love you"

"I love you more..." He stood up hugging me tightly. I cried quietly never wanting him to let him go.. I didn't think it was this possible to miss somebody this much!

"You mean sooo much too me.."

"I know baby.." He kissed my head

I couldn't afford to lose him!

"I don't think you understand how I felt when you went to jail and I didn't see you.."

"I do understand! I don't think you understand my love for you and how much I worry about you! You always underestimate my love and care for you.. I've loved you for the past 10 years of my life! Even before I made you mine I loved you beyond words but I didn't know how to tell you.. I know I fuck up, but you the only one that got my heart. I'm not going no where and if I do my love for you and my kids will never change! You have a special place in my heart.. I love you"

"I love you"

I kissed his lips placing my forehead against his.. I walked into the living room with him following closely behind. I saw Coach and Set standing in the middle of the living room waiting

"Wassup?" Qua asked

"We saw the news and I already know what happened after you talked to me last night.. but Set came and cleared up everything and I understand! I apologize for blowing up on you and saying that foul shit.. I'm taking you off of probation under one condition"

"What's that?"

"Don't let this Levi shit get out of control" He warned

"Gotcha!"

They did their hug and went into the kitchen. I sat on the couch and turned the tv off.. I needed a much needed nap

Quavious POV

I cuddled up with Royalty on the couch while I watched the game. Yaté was gone wit mama so we had the house to ourselves! I scrolled through my phone and I saw I had a couple of text messages from a unknown number but I discarded it! I'm sure it wasn't nun but a old hoe

"Can we go to bed now?" Ro asked placing her leg across mine

"The game will be done soon.. I'm surprised you ain't watching it with me"

"I'm tired, my back hurts and Sky has been doing flips all day.. I just wanna sleep"

"My lil baby trynna make a free escape" I smirked rubbing her stomach

"Hopefully she will very soon!"

I smiled a little and focused back on the game while she fell asleep. I meant everything I said earlier about my love for her and it wasn't going no where! I knew she felt the same way bout me without a doubt!

I felt my phone vibrate letting me know I had a brand new text message. I sighed picking it up reading it too see it was the same unknown number as before

Pretty soon a photo of Yasmine cane through! I felt my whole world stop.. who the fuck could be doing this shit?!
