Chapter 1 | A fresh start?

Lizzie's POV:
School starts next week, New school, New me. Let's go.
Lizzie: "Maddie!"
Maddie: "Yeah sis?" (Not looking up from her phone)
Lizzie: (comes down the stairs) "I'm going out, I'll be back in a few, but tell her that I won't be home for dinner, ok?"
Maddie: "sure, sure" (still doesn't look up from her phone)
Lizzie: (Rolls her eyes and goes back upstairs to get ready)
Ok New me, (looks in wardrobe) None of this is right, it's all to.... geeky. (No offence to geeks, I'm a bit of a geek myself 🤪) (gets out an outfit) this will do I guess.

This is her outfit, it's actually quite cute now that I look at it....

(Grabs purse and leaves the house)

AT THE MALL

(Looks around) Hair salon, that's what I want!
(Walks in the hair salon)
Lizzie: "hi, can I get a appointment for (looks at watch, it currently 10:15) 11:00?"
Salon worker: "sure! What services do you require?"
Lizzie: "hair dying please"
(Walks out the shop) Now I have 45 minutes to create a whole new me! (Goes into New Look, H&M, Top Shop, Accessorise, Primark ect)
(Half an hour later) Yay!! I will look completely different!! (staggering under the weight of bags she is carrying!)
What should I do now? I'm a bit hungry..... but I think I need to get a bit thinner, (looks longingly at KFC) No Lizzie. (Gets a salad, and sits down and eats)
(15 minutes later, arrives at the hair salon)
Worker: Lizzie ......., what colour would you like you hair dyed today?
Lizzie: erm.... Pastel pink please!!

THE NEXT WEEK
Come on Lizzie breath, it's just a new school, it's a new you, you won't get bullied.... right? Hundreds of people go to school everyday, so why am I panicking? You don't know anyone her, it's a fresh new start. You've got to make a good impression.
Maddie: "Come on Lizzie we are gonna be seriously late?!"
Lizzie: "Ok, I'm coming, just a sec"
(Looks in the mirror) This outfit is ok.....

It's not very me though.... But it's cute
Lizzie: "Ok, Maddie, lets go!"
Maddie: "well let's go then"
Lizzie: "you can get in the car"
Maddie: "I can't! Your the only one who can drive, I'm to young, and it's your car so your the only one who has the Keys and the car is locked!"
Lizzie: "Oh, Coming!!!!!!"

AT SCHOOL
(Walking through the halls, trying to find her locker)
235, 236, 237, Yay!! 238! Finally (starts organising her locker)
Bang, her locker is slammed shut
???: Hey Hottie
Lizzie: Erm.... hey
???: You wanna, you know, hook up some time
Lizzie: No thanks, (tries to walk away)
???: (grabs shoulder) were do you think your going (spins her around so she's almost touching his nose)
Lizzie: I have class so....
???: I'm sure class can wait.
Lizzie: I have to go
???: did I say you could go?
Lizzie: Erm, no but....
???: so your staying
Lizzie: but it's my first day and I really should get to class, and I don't even know your name.
???: It's Aaron
Lizzie: Ok, Aaron, I seriously need to get to class
Aaron: But give me a quick kiss first
Lizzie: I can't I'm sorry
Aaron: (Grabs her hand) Come on babe, give me a quick kiss
Lizzie: Let go of me!
Aaron: Come on..... (Gets cut off)
???: (Kicks Aaron in the stomach)
Aaron: (falls to the ground, unconscious)
???: Ignore him, he's a play boy
Lizzie: (blushes)
???: My names Oli, what's yours?
Lizzie: Elizabeth but you can call me Lizzie
Oli: Ok, Lizzie, are you new?
Lizzie: Yeah, but I'm having trouble finding my first class
Oli: what room?
Lizzie: 432
Oli: Me to, let's go!
