Chapter 2

As the class went by, I couldn't focus on the class because of Will, the new guy. He obviously radiated a aura of handsomeness and a relaxing sent of the sea water was reaching my nose. Everytime I tried to focus on class that smell just came to me without leaving me alone and on top of that I could feel his gaze on me from time to time. It was so hard to focus like this that at some point I actually gave up. I turned my head to the window and gazed at the view outside it. In my spot I could see the track field were another class was making P.E.. It was quite interesting because you could easily spot the omegas, betas and alphas apart. The alphas normally are the best in everything, the smartest, the strongest and the ones that reach far in society. The betas are the average ones and the omegas are the sex slaves used for reproduction, the ones that are good for nothing except mating. I always hated this kind of thinking, equality my ass. Maybe they don't mean to but people just don't see us as equals. It pisses me off. I start releasing a pissed sent out of nowhere and the new guy looks at me. I "tsk" and calm myself down. It was so unfair but what could I do about it? Well, nothing really. But I really don't care as long as I am not treated like that. People think I'm an alpha cause I got no similarity with an omega. I have top grades, good at sports I just don't relate with people.

-Solace do me the favour of paying attention to class!

The beta teacher exclaimed. The whole class turned and looked at Will.

-Oh, excuse me miss. It won't happen again.- he answered awkwardly, scratching his neck a little.

The beta teacher continued her class and I was finally able to pay attention to the last part of the lesson. After a little while the bell rang announcing the end of the first class. Everyone including me started to pack their things and some started to get out already. I stood up and the teacher called me.

-Di Angelo I need to speak to you so please could you wait?

I looked at her and nodded, walking towards her and when the classroom was finally empty she opened her mouth to speak.

-How have you being?

-Good...

-Has the school life improved? Social relationship? No?

-Miss, I'm good without one...

-Di Angelo look, I'm worried about you because if you don't make any interaction now you'll find it extremely difficult afterward and I know your a smart kid but you can't isolate....

-Miss, I'm good without a social relationship. And I actually prefer to be alone so if you won't see it as being rude I'll excuse myself.

I snapped, cutting her off. I turned around in my heels and marched off the classroom.

When I stepped outside the sent of sea came flooding back to my nose and I looked around to see the brunette guy standing outside the classroom where I had just come out. I looked at him then passed thought him ignoring his existence.

-Hey wait, Di Angelo right? Wait!

He shouted out for me and I tried my best to just ignore. I heard his footsteps coming closer and suddenly I felt a warm grip in my wrist. Startled I shook it away. I turned at the guy and looked at him.

-ERM.. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to shook u away...

-No, no problem, I was the one that touched you without warning...

-Solace right?

-Yeah... Di Angelo?...

We both nodded at the same time which made it feel kinda awkward but then I broke the ice.

-So did you need anything from me?

-ERM... Nothing in particular, I just wanted to apologize cause I noticed I was making you uncomfortable in class....

I looked taken aback in surprise. Was he really a alpha...? Well the whole thing and aura around him screamed so but he wasn't like the others that I had meet so far. He was being sweet, gentle with me. I stared at those sky blue eyes and once again, I felt my body lighten up and drown in those beautiful eyes, those freckles were so attractive and it went well with his brunette skin. He was really handsome. Realizing once more my thoughts I shook my head trying to break free from them and looked again at Solace, blushing slightly.

-You don't need to worry about that...

I said quickly and walked down the corridor trying to get away from him but he decided to follow me. I tried to ignore him but his presence was too strong. I suddenly stopped and he crashed onto me. I closed my eyes shut and when I opened them, Solace was on top of me. An awkward silence fell upon us as we just stared into each others gaze. He looked away and stood up reaching a hand towards me.

-I'm really sorry, I...

-There is no problem. You don't need to apologize.

I took his hand and helped myself up. I had no words in my mouth and couldn't think of anything. This time it was Solace's time to break the ice.

-Care to go grab a drink with me?- He asked.

-Alright.

We headed ourselfs to the cafeteria. When we arrived there, it was so full of students and when I looked at it, it made my body stiff. There was also to much noise and eyes fixed on me. I must have showed it in my face cause Solace asqued me what I wanted to drink so I could chose the table I preferred the most and he would bring the drinks. I chose the most dark corner in the whole cafeteria and sat on it waiting for Solace.

-Here's your strawberry milk.

I looked at him and he chuckled slightly. I blushed at his perfect smile.

-What's so funny about it?- I asked raising an eyebrow.

-Nothing, I just thought it was cute. A mysterious and unapproachable looking guy, dressed in black, asking for a sweet drink.- Solace said as he pulled for the chair and sat in front of me.

I blushed and took a sip from my milk. I looked over at him and licked my lips to clean the milk.

-So let me start all over again. I'm Will Solace, nice to meet you.

-Nico Di Angelo.

-You have a beautiful name there.

-Thanks... -I said without thinking. When I thought about what Will had just told me I chocked on my milk. I looked up while coughing and blushing. Will was looking at me with a worried expression.

-Are you alright?

-Yes I am. Did you just compliment my name?

-ERM.. Yes.

As I heard those words coming out of Will's lips I started blushing like crazy. My usually pale skin was now as red as a tomato much probably. I looked at my milk shyly.

-Thanks...-I murmured under my breath, thinking that I couldn't be heard.

-Your welcome.

Will replied with a melting smile.
