A few days had passed and I was finally able to go home. They had to run tests to see if I had any infection in my arm. Thank goodness there weren't any. Blake had to pick me up, since I couldn't drive home. We drove back in complete silence. I was still upset about what had happened a few days ago. Blake knew I was broken inside. When we pulled into my driveway, I got out and headed inside. Blake followed behind me and as soon as I walked in, my father almost tackled me to the ground.

"How's my little dragon? Ruby filled me in when I got home last night. I'm sorry I wasn't able to come see you at the hospital."

"Dad, I'm fine."

He sighed, "I can see you're not."

Tears suddenly dripped onto the floor and I jsut lost it from there. I sank down and just sat on the floor. Blake was there to comfort me and move me out of the entry way. We sat on the couch. All I could do was helplessly cry. Blake's head was on my shoulder and her arms were wrapped around me.

"Yang, it's going to be ok."

I sniffled slightly and looked up at her. I could feel my eyes turning red. She looked a bit scared as they were scarlet. I shook my head and sighed.

"I'm sorry, Blake. You really shouldn't be here."

"Yang, nothing it going to keep me from you."

"Not even seeing how broken I may be? Seeing how shattered I feel? I feel useless, Blake!"

Blake sighed and kissed my cheek. Her soft, smooth, warm lips came in contact with my skin. It felt like a blanket was being brushed across my face. I sighed as she pulled away. I turned my head towards her and gave her a light kiss on the lips.

"I'm really sorry."

"Don't be, Yang," Blake said, hugging me.

I got up and we headed to my room. I walked past Ruby's and heard voices.

"Are you sure she's going to like it?"

"I think she will," Ruby said.

I knocked on her door before entering, "Ruby, who are you talking to?"

Weiss looked up as well as Ruby. Both of them looked at the bandage that was wrapped around the remaning part of my arm.

"We were just discussing about you," Weiss said.

"And that is?" I asked.

"Yang, Weiss brought you new Atlas technology," Ruby said.

"That was very nice of you, Weiss, but I said I'd think about it."

"Well, it was General Ironwood who told me to bring it to you. So I followed his wishes. You don't have to use it if you don't want to. Take it in case you change your mind."

Weiss handed it to me and I took it, trying to get a good grip with my left hand. Blake came up from behind me and grabbed the box.

"Thank you, Weiss," I said.

"You're welcome, Yang."

I walked out of Ruby's room and closed the door. Blake and I walked into my room. She set down the box on my desk as I crawled onto my bed. She crawled next to me and we laid there, just looking at each other.

"Blake?"

"Yes, Yang?"

"You know I love you, with all my heart, right?"

"Of course I do, Yang."

I scooted closer to her and wrapped my arm around her. Her's wrapped around my waist and we laid there, in each other's embrace.

"What should I do, Blake?"

"That's for you to decide, Yang. I think you should use it, since you're right hand dominant."

I looked down at her and pushed a few strands behind her ear. I kissed her forehead and stared at the box. After a while of staring at it, my eyelids slowly became heavy. Everything went black.

When I woke up, it was around 8:30pm. I felt an absence of something next to me. I looked down and saw that Blake had left. I sighed and turned on my back. I looked up at the ceiling and started to cry once more. I needed her here more than ever. I heard a knock at my door.

"Come in."

Ruby came in and sat next to me, "Blake left an hour ago."

"Why didn't she wake me up?"

"She didn't want to disturb you while you were asleep."

"Is Weiss still here?"

"Yeah. Dinner's on the counter if you want any."

"What is it?"

"Nothing messy. It's dad's famous soup." Ruby got up and left my room. I reached over to my bedside table and picked up my phone. I got a missed a call and a voicemessage from Blake and a few text messages. I read the text messages first. One said she was sorry she had to leave without telling me. Another said she would be coming over tomorrow morning, around 11am. I listened to her voicemessage.

"Hi, Yang. Again, sorry I didn't tell you I left. You looked so peaceful in your sleep. And also I didn't think you'd let me leave. My father and mother were getting worried about me. I told them what happened and they wish you a safe recovery, not only physically. I know this is hard for you, as well as for me. I never want to see you this sad. I know it's going to take time for you to wrap your head around, but I'll be here. Just give me a call. I love you."

A tear slipped from my eye. I loved hearing her soft, gentle voice. I got up and headed downstairs to see Weiss and Ruby eating some of dad's soup.

"Hi, Yang. Dad left to get some stuff for work. Why don't you join us. We made you some soup if you'd like some," Ruby said.

"Thanks, Ruby." I walked towards the table then turned back towards the stairs. I ran up them and into my room. I grabbed the box and walked back downstairs. I placed the box on the table and opened it up, with the help of Weiss and Ruby.

"I'd better try this out before I make a decision."

They both agreed and helped me attach it to my arm. It felt slick and lightweight. It moved with ease. I sat down and ate with them. It didn't feel anything like a prostetic. It felt completely natural.
