The school year was finally over and now it was summer break. Blake, Weiss, Ruby, and I are going to head out and do some fun things. Tai was still working at Signal Academy. They don't get out until another week or so. We all got to do what we wanted today, which wasn't much. Weiss and Ruby went back to the house while Blake and I stayed out. We wanted to walk around the city a bit more. We walked past a store that was getting robbed. Blake grabbed her sword and my gauntlets flung open.

"Ready?"

"You bet."

We went after the culprit and followed him down various alleyways. We finally corned him at a dead end. The man turned around and realized he was in a sticky situation. Blake's jaw clenched as she recognized the man. That scarlet red hair. Black jacket with a rose on the back and those bull horns.

"Adam."

He turned around and smirked, "Hello,my darling. So good to see you again."

"What are you doing here?"

"Don't you remember that I visited you. Might as well come here and check in on how you are doing with her."

"Blake, what the hell is he doing here?"

"I don't know."

"I am here to get revenge on what Yang did to us!"

"She opened my eyes to show me that you were a cheating bastard that couldn't be trusted," Blake yelled.

"We could have shown everyone what we were capable, Blake!"

"Save your breath for the police. You're just wasting time."

"You two are going to go down. You hear me, Yang? Both of you are going to go down!" Adam sneered.

My jaw clenched and my arm wrapped around Blake's waist, "Not while I'm here."

Adam chuckled, "Don't act so confidently."

"You don't even know confidence."

"I am confidence."

"Just keep talking, Adam. The police are almost here," Blake said.

"Then I better do what I came here to do."

He reached down and grabbed the hilt of his sword and pulled it out of the sheath. He charged towards Blake and I. I thought he was coming after Blake. I pushed her out of sight and ran towards Adam. In a flash, I was on the ground, the wind knocked out of me. It took a while to regain my breath. Before I could realize it, there was a pain that shot through my entire body. Blake ran towards me and knelt beside me.

"I'm so sorry, Yang."

I grabbed her hand and held it tightly, "Don't be sorry."

Everything blurred and soon faded into a black mesh. All I could hear was Blake call out for help.

"Please, anyone?! Help!! Somebody, anybody, help us!!"

What felt like forever, my eyes slowly opened and blinked away a few tears. The bright light was unnatural, unlike the natural sunlight outside. My eyes slowly adjusted and I saw where I was. In the hospital. I tried leaning on my one side, but pain shot through once more. Blake rushed over to help me lean on one side.
