Nightmares turn into REALITY

The door left open

I just shifted into a new house.
Although I live alone but I really needed a house of my own.
Living in rented flats didn't really fascinate me.

I bought this house from Pamela James.
She offered a very reasonable price and no rational excuse could justify denying that offer.

I was checking out the cupboards and closets when I heard a voice.
It seemed to be coming from the attic.

I went up to check it but the door was locked.
However I was adamant at opening it so I broke the lock and went inside.
To my surprise, there was nothing there just some old crockery and newspapers.

I was going through the stuff when a particular headline caught my attention.

Pamela James, a 50 year old, commits suicide after killing nearly ten people in her attic.

I immediately rushed out of the attic and went to my bedroom.

Suddenly, I felt an immense pain in my stomach.
I looked down and there was a knife passed through me and a voice said, "Some doors should not be left open."
