"You throw like a girl."
He said without meaning it as an insult.
He made fun of her athletic ability
Is he aware she has a physical disability ?
He still lives in a world of black and white
Where girls need strong men to save them day and night.
Where girls can't think for themselves
Where girls rather be liked than be leaders
Wake up, we're no longer helpless creatures.
What I say next won't come out a stutter or a swirl.
This is a man's world
But it'd be nothing, without a woman or a girl.
[ author's note: guys the first couple of poems were made in 2018, it's now 2020. they get better i promise! ]
