Chapter 2

"Im going to miss you so much!" My bestfriend Serenity, told me.

It was the last period of the day and we were just talking and saying our last goodbyes until school was officially over.

"Im going to miss you too! But dont worry, we'll hang out!" I reassured her as she gave me a hug.

Serenity was one of my 2 bestfriends. My other bestfriend was Demi, but we sadly didnt have any classes this year.

We still hanged out frequently with Serenity which means it was going to make it harder to say goodbye.

"Bye Levine!" Everyone screamed to me while I was getting off the bus.

"Bye Guys!" I yelled back while getting my things together.

Yes! I thought to myself. Ive always hated my school because everyone was always so judgmental. There was never anybody I really could connect with.

Hence the reason I didnt have a boyfriend. I would love to have a guy who would show me all his attention, tell Im beautiful and show me I could be loved. But that is way to good to be true.

The next day I thought I would hang out with my friend that lives in my neighborhood Tina since my brothers were somewhere with my dad.

"Mom, Im off to Tina's house!" I yelled to my mom who was using her phone.

"Okay have fun!" She said not looking up from her phone.

Me and my mom weren't really close. We talked sometimes if I needed something from her or she needed me to do something for her.

I didn't mind though, at the end of the day I loved her and she loved me and that was all that mattered.

"Hey Levine, do you want to hang out with Derek for a while?" Tina asked.

We were currently at her house dancing and listening to Justin Bieber.

I absolutely loved him with a passion. Oh yes, he would be mine one day.

"Sure." I told her. So we went off to see if Derek was at his usual spot, the basketball goal at the coutesac, and sure enough he was there.

But what I didnt expect was to see another guy there. My brother was somewhere with my dad so, who could that be?

"Who's that with Derek?", I asked while playing with my iPhone.

"I don't know. Lets find out." She said speeding up to them after taking her house keys.

We were already there but we were facing their back when I noticed my shoe was untied.

"Shoot, my shoe lace is untied." I mumbled to myself. I bent down and tied my shoe, but when I stood up I saw something that made my stomach do somersaults.
