If I changed my soul,

Would you see that it was always empty,

A void, until you poured yourself into me?

Your soul was never a void- you just kept it hidden, and I found it.

If I changed my heart,

Would you learn that you never truly saw

Who I was, or how long I hid who I am?

Do you really think that who you were matters anymore?

If I changed who I am,

Would you still love me, despite all my flaws?

If I were someone else, would you love me more?

I love you, and nothing could ever change that.

If I changed everything,

Would you see that I am nothing more than

Dust, waiting to be blown away forever?

You are stronger than the strongest wind, and more than dust could ever dream of being.

How do you know?

How do you not?

If you changed who you were,

Would you be who you are?

And if you changed who you are,

Would you love me?
