The pen dances by candlelight
Printing words upon the page:
Smooth and white;
The pen weaves a story all its own
As the paper is filled to the brim;
Beautiful characters!
Marvelous symbols!
The pen writes now and again!
The pen sings a song
Unlike any heard before.
Beautiful characters!
Marvelous symbols!
The pen writes now and again!
The paper listens eagerly,
To hear what the pen will hum
As it writes now and again!
