Aslan's Words
"My dear son."
Peter was broken. He was the leader, the High King. He was the one who was supposed to do the right thing. And all he'd done was take his brother and sisters in the wrong direction and ignore the wise counsel of Lucy.
But Aslan's words were not of rebuke.
Aslan's words were forgiveness and love.
"Well done."
Edmund had been the one to ruin everything last time. He had betrayed his family, done the wrong thing. Aslan had rebuked him last time, and forgive him.
But this time, Aslan's words were not of rebuke.
Aslan's words were a welcome for a good and faithful servant.
"You have listened to fears, child."
Susan had been the one to comfort him in his saddest hour last time. She'd been a good sister, and done right. But this time, fears had overcome her.
But instead of punishment, he gave her his strength.
"Are you brave again?"
"A little, sir."
Aslan's words were comfort to a hurting girl.
