Lucy exhaled a shaky breath. Susan smiled and put another pin in her hair, securing another intricate braid. "Are you ready?" Susan asked. Lucy looked into the mirror at her reflection. It showed the lovely young woman staring back at her, the woman who didn't really look like Susan but was beautiful in her own way. A kindness shown out of her and a happiness unknown. "Yes," she answered. "I think I am." Susan set a veil over the hairstyle and then a tiara over that. Lucy turned so that Susan could place the lovely earrings in her ears. Lucy's eyes filled with tears and se embraced Susan. "Thank you," she whispered. Susan held her close and whispered, "You look so beautiful." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lucy walked down the aside to her waiting future spouse to take her vows and join as one. Peter held her arm. He smiled and passed her to Edmund who walked her the rest of the way. She took her lovers hand at the alter. He looked at her with pure adoration. "I love you." "And I you."
