"Hey Ralton!" A girl with lovely blonde shoulder-length hair came, running towards me. It was my girlbestfriend. She had those shiny crystal blue orbs.

I sensed the urgency and her dark mysterious aura that she had even she was still from a far.

It doesn't even frighten me anymore.

"Hey Seriena!" I mimicked her tone of voice. She gave me a glare.

She's actually an introvert, and let me tell you.. She's really silent. We're kind of the same in some way, and we're also different at the same time.

I'm an extrovert, but we get along.

We became friends by teasing each other. Yeah, weird story. It took her a while to open up and socialize.

Let me introduce myself, I am Ralton Hartley. Thirteen years of age, I have dark-brown chocolate hair and forest green eyes. I'm a second year.

Seriena suddenly smacked her Trigonometry book at me— what a nerd. "Ouch!!" I rubbed my left arm.

"I'm sorry, does it hurt?" She asked, genuinely concerned.

I have to admit, my bestfriend is quite beautiful. Her stunning image makes boys fawn over her, with her wavy blond hair and sharp cheekbones.

But she's already a sister to me, and honestly I would kill any boy who'd try to break her heart.

"Hey, snap out of it!" She exclaimed, I didn't realize that I was staring at her for way too long.

"How come you don't even have a boyfriend?" I let that question slip through my mouth, doing my best not to laugh at her as she retrieved her book.

"Because my parents wont allow me, and I'm pretty sure that your going to knock him out if ever I get one?"

She replied, I looked at the book she was holding. "Oh really? But if ever you want a boyfriend, I advice you to stop being so nerdy." She rolled her eyes.

"I never saw someone reading a Trigo book that is about.. well, err. Maybe 1000 pages or something?" I spat as I snatched the book from her hands.

"Hey! Give it back!" She aimlessly tried to retrieve it, but I raised the book so that she wouldn't get it.

I'm so happy that I'm taller than her, that actually pisses her off.

Don't get me wrong, she's tall. But it's just that my height is taller than hers.
I'm 6'4, while she's about 5'8.

I sometimes wonder if she considers
Avery as a bestfriend. It's like, they trust each other and they have a bond. (A/N: More about Avery later)

Even though I'm her bestfriend.

"Okay, okay. Here." I gave her book back, she sticked her tongue out. The small childish gesture that she did made me chuckle.

She never fails to make fun of me.

"You weird guy." She murmured, I heard her. I consider myself lucky.

Sometimes, when people talk to her, the tone of voice that she uses is just barely above a whisper. If you actually get to know her, she's really loud.

"If no one else could hear your voice, you know that I'd be the one to speak for you, right?" I silently asked.

"I won't be surprised if you heard me." She smiled, a genuine smile. That's the most precious thing about her, but it's reserved to very limited people.

I am glad to be one of them.
