Chapter 9

Blake laughed lightly. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and rested my head against her's. 

"Told you they'd find it cute."

"When have you ever said that, Yang?"

"I was never spoken, but I said it to myself."

She smiled. We reached the school and got off the bus. Ozpin was outside waiting for us. We both walked towards him.

"Ah, Ms. Xiao Long and Ms. Belladonna. Thank you for showing our new student around."

"It's a pleasure," Blake said.

"He should be arriving any moment."

We stood outside, watching the other students walk into the school. A few minutes after everyone was inside, a small car pulled up and a boy with yellow, short hair, a monkey tail, jeans, and an open shirt came out. He closed the door and the car drove off. He walked up to Ozpin, Blake, and I.

"Morning, Professor. Ozpin. I'm Sun Wukong."

"I've heard a lot about you, Sun. Please, tell me, why did you want to switch over to Beacon from Shade?"

"You know, wanted to get out of the same area. Wanted to explore new options." He looked towards Blake, smiling.

She looked up at him and rolled her eyes.

"Well, this Yang Xiao Long and her friend Blake Belladonna. They will be showing you around for today. Good luck and have fun learning."

Sun, Blake, and I walked into the school together. He seemed upbeat while Blake and I seemed a little uncomfortable.

"So, what made you decide to come to Beacon?" Blake asked.

"Shade was so shady. There were a lot of fights happening and I didn't want to get involved. I thought it was best for me to transfer to this school. Seems nice, well known, and well protected by the best guardians."

"Tell me, Sun, have you ever been interested in anyone?" I asked.

"Not really, until I saw you, Blake."

Blake sighed and continued walking. We showed Sun the entire school and dropped him off at his first class. We walked to our class afterwards.

"Do you find him a bit, off?" Blake asked.

"Well, for one thing, if he tries to get close to you, I'll kick his ass."

"Yang, you don't need to do that."

"Blake, he's interested in you. And you already have me. You need to let him know that if he tries to be all touchy."

"Yang, I'm not going to let that happen."

"You better. I really don't want to beat him up, since he's new and doesn't want to be involved in any fights."

~After Finals~

"Those tests were so brutal," Ruby said.

"I thought they were alright," Weiss said.

"They didn't seem to be hard," Sun said.

"Blake, what did you think about them?" I asked.

"I thought they were fine."

We got onto the bus and headed home. When the bus dropped Ruby and I off, we walked towards the house.

"Dad's not going to get back until late. So its just you and I for dinner."

"Why don't you invite Blake?"

"She has company coming over."

"Oh."

"Where do you want to eat?"

"More like what," Ruby said.

"And that is?"

"I wouldn't mind some noodles."

"Noodles it is!"

~Few Weeks Later~

"Why haven't you and Blake been talking?" Ruby asked.

"She's too busy with Sun," I said, looking at them from across the cafeteria. They were sitting with Jaune, Nora, Ren, and Pyrrha. Velvet and Coco were also with them. Blake had a smile on her face and she looked like she was having the time of her life.

"I think she's made a new friend," Weiss said.

"If she did, why wouldn't they want to sit over here?"

"Hey, Blake, after school, do you want to hang out?" I asked.

"Sure. Want to come around 4:30?"

"Sounds great."

At 4:30, I headed over to her house. She gave me an extra key in case if Ruby or I ever needed to go there, or if Blake needed me. Strangely, the door was unlocked. I walked in and saw she wasn't in the living room.

"Blake, you in here?"

I started walking around and saw the basement light was on. I walked down the steps.

"Blake, you down—"

"Yang?!"

"Blake, what is the meaning of this?!"
