The Fateful Encounter (Dulse x reader)

Chapter 1

 
  1st person P.O.V

   Pain... Pain was all I could feel as I gripped tightly onto my side. A thick red liquid drenched not only my hand and black glove but also my entire right side of my once white shirt where a large wound now lays.

  My vision was starting to blare. The only thing I can see is red and black of flames and smoke and the hazy silhouettes of people. Screams and the crackling of flames reached my ears..

  My home.. My town it was burning to the ground. Some unknown pokemon came through this portal or worm hole.. It seemed like it was harmless since it just floated in the sky where the portal appeared for a while.

  Now I wished it was still floating their.. It was only a few minutes but within those minutes that felt like hours, it managed to kill thousands and destroy cities and towns. I don't know how but... I guess you could say it went on a rampage. It shot out lasers and set everything to flames.

  I lost my family within seconds me being the only one, and one out of the few that survived that violent attack. Oh how I wished it never came.. What could cause anything to do such a cruel and violent thing.

  Those were the only thoughts that entered my mind until I could no longer keep my eye lids open. I slowly collapsed onto the ground the last thing I heard was a cry of another creature and something slowly start picking me up.

  "Who is she?"

  "I don't know.. Lunala just brought her here"

  "Do you think she's dangerous?"

  "Doubt it, she was badly injured when we found her with Lunala"

  Voices slowly reached my ears a small groan escaped my lips.

  "Shh I think she's waking up" all went silent as I tried forcing my eyes open. My whole body aches and throb and my head pounded with such pain. I never thought waking up would be this hard.. Its now that death seemed much more welcoming...

  With one final try my eye lids slowly slid opened. My vision blurred for a moment until it slowly formed into a white ceiling. I furrowed my brows confused as I wondered where I was at. I couldn't remember much it was all a bit fuzzy. I remember screaming and people going into a panic but that's about it...

  Shuffling caught my attention as I turned my head slightly to the left. My eyes met with light blue orbs first. It was a male that had violet colored hair and wore a strange suit then there was this girl with orange hair that stood by the chair he sat in next to my bed.

  "Ah your awake!" The female cheered causing my head to pound again making me flinch.

  "Zossie please keep your voice down... She probably has a headache." The male lectured quietly causing the girl now known as Zossie to gasp and lower her voice.

  "I'm so sorry" Zossie apologized making me smile slightly in understanding.

  "Its alright" I answered quietly my voice cracking due to not being used. Zossie brighten slightly but both seemed like they were worried.

  "Hey are you feeling alright?" The male questioned making me look at him slightly confused.

  "We found you badly injured at the entrance of Ultra Megalopolis..." Zossie explained pointing to my bandaged side. I was confused for a moment until everything came back to me at once. The attack, my family, my town, my friends...

  I jolted up immediately ripping the blue colored blankets and sheets off my body. Where was everyone? Is my home alright??? Apparently my sudden movements caused Zossie and the male to panic and jump into action. They moved quickly to restrain me to the bed. The male held my shoulders while Zossie gripped my legs.

  "Please miss, you need to relax, your wounds may open again" the male tried to reason but it went upon deaf ears.

  "Please! Please let me go, my home- ACK!" I yelped as overwhelming pain shook my entire side.

  "Dulse her wound reopened!" Zossie panicked as she watched blood sip out of the white bandages through the shirt I was wearing. A few curses escaped Dulse's lips as he peaked over his shoulder at my side. I felt my body become weak as I slowly slumped. I started feeling dizzy as my head collapsed on the pillow, Dulse and Zossie now running around to collect what I believe are medical supplies.

  I watched as everything became fuzzy and the last thing I could remember before passing out this time was a hand being placed on my cheek and the male known as Dulse speaking to me. I believe he told me to 'hold on'.
