Noong nasa parking na sila ng building ni Paul ay hindi niya alam ang gagawin. Tahimik kasi ang asawa at halatang aburido habang nasa byahe sila.

"Uhm.... Chance, are you mad?" She asked even she already know the answer. Nice.

His jaw clenched. "I don't want to..."

Napalabi siya. "S-sorry."

He sigh deeply. "Fine... I trust you, anyway...." Saad nito. He smiled kahit na halatang pilit.

Ngumiti siya at inabot ang labi nito upang halikan. "I love you, my cold fish." Malambing na wika niya.

Chance grinned. "Stop flirting with me. You might cancel that damn meeting if I get tempted." Pang-aasar nito. Natawa na lamang siya. God! How can't she fall In love with this guy?

Ilang minuto pa silang nanatili sa loob ng sasakyan dahil sa paglalambingan bago siya nakababa. She waved her hand to his husband while he took off before she entered the elevator.

Nang makarating sa reception ay agad siyang inasist paakyat sa opisina ni Pierre. Muli niyang naramdaman ang kaba. Alam niyang wala kasigururaduhan ang gagawin niya but she have to trust this guy... Maybe he will be the one to help her to finally get free to his father.

Nang makapasok ay naabutan niya ito na abala sa pagtitig sa glass window nito na tanaw ang busy na siyudad sa ibaba.

"Sir, Miss Suarez is here." She cringed from that and wants to correct her but she just shrugged it off.

Humarap si Pierre sa kanya ng may ngiti. Those warm smile like you can trust him. "I thought you wouldn't come." Saad nito bago lumapit sa kanya at minuwestra ang sofa na naroon.

Nagtaas siya ng kilay ngunit umupo rin. "Don't take it too longer. Spill everything you need to say." Matigas na wika niya. She didn't show any emotion.

Ngumisi ito at umupo sa katapat na sofa. "To excited, aren't we?" He tease.

"I don't have time for this shit, Pierre... Why are you helping me like you said?" She impatiently said.

Sumandal ito sa sofa na kinauupuan. "Let's just say that my mom wants to help you."

"Sinabi mo na sa akin iyan. I want to know why."

"Because she wants to help her best friends, daughter for her evil dad." He said as he wait for her reaction.

Kumunot ang kanyang noo ngunit mayroong kaba sa kanyang puso. They know her mother. "K-kilala niyo ang mama ko?" She asked. She shifts to her seat. "But she's dead."

Tumaas ang kilay nito. "Who told you?"

"My father...." Wala sa loob na wika niya. "Wait... Don't tell me..."

Pierre sigh deeply. "Yes, Carlinda.... Your mother is alive." Seryosong wika nito. Umawang ang labi niya sa sinabi nito. Her heart was pounding rapidly....

"No... You're lying. Patay na siya. Sabi ni Papp namatay siya noong pinagbubuntis niya ako." Matigas na wika niya. She won't believe it. Hinanap ng kanyang tito ang mama niya noon ay they can't find her anywhere... No trace.

"She's in Greece with my Mom."

"Anong ginagawa niya? Hindi niya ba alam na hinahanap siya ng pamilya niya? Ni Tito? My Lola died because of too much stressed because of her!" Hindi niya na napigilan. All this years! Hindi 'man lamang nito naisip na kuhanin siya mula sa tatay niya! She suffered a lot!
