More than friends

Raritys pov:

It was about 7.30am when I woke up to get ready for college. I Snuck out of ajs bed and across the floor so I didn't wake any of the other girls up. I headed down to the kitchen for breakfast and a drink before using ajs shower. I decided on pancakes for breakfast so I got all of the ingredients out. As I was mixing them fluttershy came down, "Morning rarity" I turned round to see her "morning fluttershy, did you sleep well?" She looked down before answering me "Not really, you?" I mirrored her actions "I didn't either" "Was it because of what you found out?" Her question caught me off guard but she was right "yeah it was, Was that the reason you couldn't sleep?" She nodded at me. Everything was quiet in the kitchen for a bit except from the sound of the kettle and the sound of the pancakes being fried. Fluttershy was the first to talk again "Do you think we should be worried, you know because of applejack and rainbow Dash?" I didn't know what to say, so I just settled with telling her how I felt "Personally I want to say no, but we do have to face the fact that applejack and rainbow Dash used to be in love" Fluttershy looked sad and to be honest I weren't feeling to happy about it either. I was just finishing up making the pancakes and coffees before there were 2 others entering the kitchen. "Morning girls" Me and fluttershy both looked up "morning starlight, morning twilight, Can I get you girls a drink?" They both sat down at the table, "yeah sure thanks rare" I stood up and walked over to the kettle before pouring out the drinks "what are you girls having" "coffee" they both replied in union. I poured there coffees out before bringing the sugar and pot over so they could add there own sugar. We were all drinking our coffees engaging in light conversation,  "so what time are the others getting up? " "well I can tell you that pinkie doesn't get up until 8.30 she loves to sleep in" I giggled "sounds like aj" we talked for a little longer before I checked the time. "Girls.. If we don't wake the others we will all be late" they all checked their times aswell okayy lets go. We all headed upstairs to wake the girls up. Starlight went to sunset and tapped her, "Hey baby, we have collage you gotta get up" before starlight was able to stand back up from leaning over her girlfriend, sunset grabbed her pulling her on top of her and cuddling her "I refuse to get up, So I'm gonna hug you till u go back to sleep" starlight chuckled before returning the hug "your still getting up" all sunset did was groan. Next it was twilights turn to wake up pinkie "pinkie, get up, we have college and I refuse to let my girlfriend be late" pinkie opened up one of her eyes "okayy boss ill get up" it was just me and flutteshy left now but as we were about to wake the girls up we were stopped in out tracks. Instead of rainbow being on the floor, she was now in the bed curled up next to aj and ajs hand was rested on the side of rainbows face. I was absolutly pissed off and so was fluttershy. I snapped a pic before leaning over aj and rainbow "Girls get up now we have college" they both opened there eyes looking at me before looking at eachother and instantly regretting it. Aj was the first to speak "rarity,  let me explain" I cut her off mid sentence "There's nothing to explain get ready for college we will talk later" with that I turned around and left followed by fluttershy. Just as we were about to leave rainbow dash called after fluttershy "flutters wait" Fluttershy didn't respond she just flipped rainbow off over her shoulder, wich was suprising because fluttershy was usually against stuff like that.

(Time skip)

I was sitting in math class but couldnt seem to focus on anything, all I could think about was rainbow and applejack this morning. Applejack had been texting me all day but I haven't replied. I had a cover teacher today so I pulled my phone out to find more texts from applejack

I read the last message that had been sent and within seconds, the classroom door opened. I was shocked when I looked up. Standing infront of me was aj. "Aj what are you doing in here, your class is across campus" "Come with me" I stood up and asked if I could be dismissed. The teacher nodded her head and allowed me to leave. Once I was out of the classroom I questioned aj " aj, why have you come and got me out of class?" She looked at me and the seemed unhappy "Because I can't concentrate knowing that your angry at me". I looked down feeling really bad. We walked outside and sat by the statue before aj started to explain. "Look rarity, I know that you think there's still something between me and rainbow but trust me when I say there isnt, The reason me and rainbow were next to eachother is because rainbow wasn't happy. She spent last night crying because she feels like she is going to loose fluttershy because of spitfire. All rainbow wanted was comfort and shes always found it in me. rainbow and me are close, we trust eachother and thats it. I promise" I looked down feeling bad. "Im sorry darling I just suppose I got scared. The thought of loosing you is something that terrifys me, I suppose I just feel like I'm competing against people" she smiled after I had said that "you think I don't feel like that sometimes, like when you are with fluttershy?  Or when your with trender? It worries me." I smiled at her then jumped forward and kissed her "you don't have to worry babe. I'm yours" I crawled closer before sitting in her lap "I love you darling" she kissed me on the forehead "I love you to sugarcube"
