Different

I woke up beside Jahseh. I was surprised he was still here, he's usually gone before I wake up. Maybe he's embarrassed to be with me. I tapped him on the shoulder.

"What?" He grumbled, turning over. I rolled my eyes, and pushed him off the bed. "Get up, weirdo!" I yelled playfully. He just muttered under his breath and slowly rose to his feet. 

"It's early, I'm going back to sleep." He said, but I blocked him from the bed. 

"No. You wanted me to stay home today, so lets hang out. Come on!" He sighed. "Fine, lemme get dressed," He said as he walked out of the room, closing the door behind him. I got dressed as well, deciding to put a nice shirt on and a skirt and Vans. I fixed my hair but didn't bother to do my makeup, because he would probably just go back to sleep anyway. I grabbed my phone and ran down the stairs, closing the door as I walked out. 

I knocked on his door. "Done yet, slowpoke?" I asked. He opened the door. "It's not my fault, you woke me up." He pointed out with a chuckle. "Come on, lets go to Dunkin Donuts." He suggested.

"Aight." I replied, a little shocked he wanted to go anywhere. "You're paying," I added with a laugh. "Of course."

I wasn't hungry so I just got a coffee. I sat across from him, sipping the coffee. "How's your day so far?" I asked

"Fine, since I get to spend it with you." I blushed, then quickly hid my face. I didn't like him. No. "Thanks," I just replied.

"What?"

"Nothing." I laughed. 

"So, how's your day going so far?" He asked me.

"Fine, since I get to spend it with you." I repeated. He smiled. 

"Thanks, Lexi." He responded. 

"No problem. Wanna go back home?" I nodded. "Yeah, c'mon."

I sat beside Jashseh on the couch, his arm wrapped around me. He had put some Anime or whatever this was on. I didn't pay too much attention.

The door soon opened and Ski walked in. "Hey!" I said, smiling. 

"Sup," He replied. 

"I'ma go to my room." Jahseh said, and quickly kissed me on my cheek, without Ski seeing. My face immediately became a redish pink color, and I just stared at him.

"Why?" I whispered. He just shrugged and went upstairs. I smiled slightly, but then sighed, and hid the smile. I couldn't like Jahseh, I just couldn't. I could never be with him.
