Chapter 3

Later the swordsman went on deck of a trading ship and asked the allowance to stay the night from the captain. The Demon leaned against the railing leaning the swords against his shoulder and laied the arm over his bended knee, shutting his eyes to rest. The group of soldiers nearby where whispering to each other but the swordsman felt to exhausted to follow their conversation. >>I wonder what Lady Emilia and Emeralda are up to right now...<< he heard a voice say awaking him just as he was about to fall asleep. >>I don't think that she takes her current mission seriously. I mean have you looked at her lately?<< the second asked >>She looks like she's a zombie...<< >>Yeah. I wonder what has caused her to become like that.<< >>Makes me wonder what has happened in that world called Japan.<< one sighed. He frowned. It seemed that something troubled Emi... What could it be? >>But not only Emilia have you seen Crestia Bell recently?<< the third voice asked. >>She too was in Japan right? Makes one really wonder...<< the soldier begann. >>Enough!<< the Demon who couldn't handle it growled his eyes now narrowed and gleaming with a fierce expression enough to shut the others up or at least whisper in a hushed voice. The disturbed swordsman leaned back his eyes travelong over the night blue sky adorned with many stars on it's surface. It seemed almost surreal that it was the same sky one could also see from the red moon. >>Let me tell you what this colour is you are afraid of so much...<< Lailahs voice echoed trough his mind and he shut his red eyes closed soon finding the desired rest

The day after the ship landed on land soon the group of soldiers walked away towards a tavern probably to get some food. While the Demon talked with the captain and said his farewell after taking a ration of food. The captain seemed concerned about him and noted that the swordsman should eat properly to stay healthy. Named swordsman just smiled and nodded before he walked off.
Chewing on some fresh bread he walked on the path hearing a ear piercing familiar scream he dropped the package and turned towards the sound soon after the cry of a Demon appeared. His eyes widden in horror... two all to well known persons were crossing swords.
