"Eden can we please talk?"

I got stun, si Jake ba talaga to? A few seconds ago para na siyang papatay nang tao while walking towards me, but now his face became soft na parang hindi to galit kanina. I didn't say anything but I just followed him na naglakad papuntang cottage.

Na una na siyang pumasok kaya I was thinking twice. If he wants to talk with me bakit sa cottage pa? My heart is beating fast again, I feel anxious, scared, I'm not sure. Pero nag aalangan akong pumasok sa cottage. Baka hindi lang pasa ang aabutin ko baka umabot na sa point na mapapatay ako ni Jake. My whole body is shaking just the thought of it.

But do I have any other choice? Wala, wala akong magagawa kaya kahit alangan man ay pumasok na ako sa cottage. He was standing at the terrace habang naka tingin sa kawalan. I'm not sure if he knows that I am there already kasi wala naman siyang imik. Naka tayo lang ako sa likod niya na nanginginig. I am literally shaking and I can't stop myself kahit na gusto kong pigilan ang sarili ko nanginginig parin ako sa takot. After a few mins I broke the silence.

"S-Sasaktan mo ba na naman ako?"

God knows how I tried my best to calm my nerves but wala akong nagawa. My voice is shaking same as how my body is shaking at this moment. I just heard him sigh and turned around to look at me.

I can't see his face clearly, it's already dark and all I can see is the silhouette of him. Only a lamp gives light to the room which is actually located at the side of the bed. My body is trembling and my heart is beating so fast, I am scared, I am very scared right now. I want to run or hide from him but my body can't move, parang pinapako ang mga paa ko sa sahig.

I closed my eyes, I know he's just an inch away from him. It's been awhile since the last time that he hurt me physically. I am emotionally drained right now and totally confused with my decisions in life. I can't stand to get any pain for now. I flinch when he touch my shoulders. I was expecting that it will be a very painful touch but it wasn't.

"I promised to myself Eden that I will never hurt you again"

I slowly open my eyes and try to look at him. I am not sure if I saw sincerity in his eyes. He probably felt that I am shaking in fear right now so he hugged me tight.

"Sorry hon, sorry for making you feel this way"

Confused, but I just didn't do anything, I didn't move nor talk anything. All I am doing right now is to breath slowly to calm my nerves.

"Alam mo bang gustong-gusto kong patayin ang mga lalaking nakatitig sayo kanina?"

"H-huh?" Yan lang ang tanging na sambit ko. I am not aware na may nakatitig pala sa akin kanina. Probably nong sumigaw si Dianne we got most of the people's attention but after that bumalik naman sila sa pinag gagawa nila. He stopped hugging me at tumingin sa mga mata ko.

"Akin ka lang Hon, I can't live without you, sakin ka lang diba? Mahal na mahal kita" he said then kiss my forehead.

Bumilis na naman ang tibok nang pusi ko, not because of fear but because of something else. I am just wishing na it's not hope. Ayaw kong umasa na naman sa kanya. Is he really changing right now? I am not sure why is he like this? Anong nangyari sa kanya while he's away from us?

He tilt my chin and kiss me fully. Hindi ako gumagalaw para akong mannequin sa harapan niya gulat na gulat parin. He mutter the word please in between his kisses. Kaya tumugon na ako, nakakalunod ang bawat halik niya sa akin. It feels like everything is perfect, is this what they called as honeymoon phase?

If this is it, magpapaubaya nalang muna ako. I don't give my full trust to him but that doesn't mean na hindi ko muna eenjoyin ang gabing to. He makes me forget everything that has happened to us every time he roam his hands on my body para akong na kukuryente.

This will be a long night for us.
