I jumped at the knock. I wasn't expecting anyone else to come, and I highly doubt my mom came back, after all, she did just leave. So who could it be...? I grab my knife, not wanting to be caught off guard, and open the door.
*Saturday morning, 6:05 am*
The world doesn't matter. I drop the knife and forget everything. It scrapes againt my leg as it falls, but I couldn't care less. The pain is nothing. I find everything of my innocent past just looking at this one face. "A-A-Alex...?" I stare. "Is that really-is that really you?" "Your... your bleeding!" he yells. I still stare, but then I realize how much my leg really DOES hurt...! That's when the world went dark.
