Chapter 1: Unforgetable

*Kevin's POV*

Its the final play.. Score is 34-35, I'm waiting taking deep breathes. I see two of my receivers getting ready for the Hiking of the ball.

I call it. Center hikes it to me, I see one of them go of the Hail Mary. He open, i throw it to him, and i see him trying to go for the ball. He catches it and runs it to the end zone.

Once again the Hill View Hawks win..

People scrambling in the field, the cheer my name, "KEVIN! KEVIN! KEVIN!" I stand there with my hand up with a fist.

Brandon, James, Jeremy, Anniya, and Christy are screaming my name as loud as they can. I don't know why because its not like I did it before. I put my hand down and walk into the locker rooms alone.

I start to take all my clothes of and decide to take a shower.

"Damn, I smell like shit." I said to myself

I turn the nob and water came out of spout. I stand there just looking at the wall thinking to my self what gonna happen now. I finish my shower, dried myself, put on some lotion, and clothed myself. Swagged out as always I walk out in my blue flannel, blue Adidas, and jeans.

Out of them shower room, I see them all, my friends, my best friends, standing there, standing with a smile, standing waiting for me with a smile.

"So Kevin, wanna head to my place for dinner?" Said Anniya

"Sure" I replied

"Can I come too?" Asked Christy, Katelynn, and and Jeremy

"Pssh! Why not!?" Replied Anniya in happiness

"Okay let's go!" Said Anniya

I didn't bother to ask Brandon and James because Christy Hates Brandon. They used to be a couple but things got complicated and they separated. Brandon did everything right in their relationship but he couldn't take it in when Christy ended it. Christy asked him to be friends but he screwed it up twice and Christy hated him forever. After a few months she started liking Jeremy, Jeremy liked her for about a year and he was stuck in the friendzone for about 11 months. They got together and became a couple. I don't know how Brandon took that to the heart considering his Best Friend took Christy. But he doesn't care anymore because he said to Chirsty that she hopes to find the right guy for her and that she may be truly happy. Brandon couldn't be mad at Jeremy because that's respect and that's what he wanted. But Christy still hates him.

James on the other hand seems to not like Anniya, Christy, and Katelynn. He's cool with everyone but he seems scared of them I don't know why.

On my way out of the locker rooms I see Brandon and James go to their cars. I asked them where they are going to and they said that they were going to Dave and Busters. They go there because they either want to have a good time or they want to sit in a corner and drink until they fall asleep. The only way that they get their Alcohol is because Bryan, The Waiter, doesn't give a shit about the law.

I hop into my 2013 Chevy Camaro and drive to Anniya's house.

As I arrived we all walk in Anniya's house and into her kitchen. Anniya's parents are away and they don't give a fuck who enters theirs house because they could care less about her or what the fuck she does. She hates going home to her parents because all they do is bring her problems and make her really stressed and depressed.

"What do you guys want to eat?" Anniya Asked

"Anything" I replied

"So while we were at the game I put some steaks in the oven and let it slow cook for 2 hours." She said

"Great!" I said

So she took the steaks out of the oven and all of us ate it. She stole some beers out of her parents basement. Katelynn, Christy, and Jeremy all got drunk and slept in the guest rooms. I helped Anniya clean up and we had a few drinks after.

"How are you doing?" I asked

"Good, what about you?" She replied

"I'm fine" I stared at her for a second, looking at her beautiful eyes, just looking for a brief moment

"What? She asked

"Nothing, I just like looking into your eyes." I slowly said

"We'll you should stop staring, because I'm nothing to look at."

"Yeah you are, stop being insecure"

"I can't, I'm a girl, it's just the way I am"

"Yeah okay, Ms. I'm Not Pretty, you got asked out by 4 of the most popular guys in school and you turned them down, now tell me, how aren't you pretty?"

"Whatever" with a smirk in her face

I don't know how she thinks she not pretty, she got asked out by 4 of the most popular guys in school and I was one of them (This was before we became best friends). Anyways, it's fine because out of all the guys that chased her I was the one who probably gave her more drama considering I was the first. I had this whole scenario on where I told the whole school and her that I didn't have feelings for her and that I would stop chasing after her. I stopped liking her about 1 month and my feelings came back. I didn't know how to tell so I did it over text. She was fine with it and by that time we became best friends.

"Do you want to stay over?" She asked me

"I don't want to bother you, so I think I'll just go home." I said

"What? Bother me? How?"

"I don't know, but I just am."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah I'm sure, besides we only had a few beers soo I think I'll make it on the way home."

"Alright, well drive safely, I don't want you to get hurt"

"Okay Mom" I said with a laugh

I went up to her an gave her a big hug and said thank you. I exited her house and went up to my car. She was watching me for a brief moment and I drove away towards my house.
